Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Grain Cereal - Almond - 16 oz

I had originally left a poor review but after eating this a few more times I changed to five stars. You don't just pour milk on this healthy cereal. You add some honey and fruit and milk and savor each bite because this is doing good things for your body. The taste is bland but this is a superfood. It is up to you to make this delicious.

I had this with 2% milk, usually alone but sometimes mixed with rolled oats I have a complicated relationship with grape-nuts, they fall into that category of food which, based on its characteristics, I should like but for some reason don't. The flavor is okay, but the hardness is a hard sell. The pieces of this cereal are significantly larger and less dense. Not sweet, or barely sweet at least, and the almond contributes only a little to the flavor/texture. It tastes healthy, that's for sure, and I liked it enough to finish the whole box in a couple weeks. I'll try the other varieties as well, but this is expensive cereal so I say try looking for a sale if you can find one. If you like grape-nuts in flavor or concept, or other grain cereals, I would recommend getting it at try.

Great higher fiber and protein content. I love their breads as well.

I didn't like this. Didn't taste good. I was hoping it would taste as good as the Ezekiel bread.

Just what it says - which is sadly hard to find. Just be aware that although it is Organic doesn't mean that there is no Glyphosate in the product. Wheat growers that are not Organic use Glyphosate to kill pests et al as well as to hasten the "maturation" of the wheat not quite ready, so they can get all their wheat to market all at once. Apparently the spraying of the herbicide gets carried through the air and to the Organic fields. Additionally, Organic doesn't have to mean 100%, but only 70% to be labeled "Organic". Glyphosate is not healthy for anyone, but many people get painful joints and muscles from the Glyphosate being embedded in them. When this happens you have to take a break from wheat until your body can rid you of the Glyphosate. I read that HHS is banning Glyphosate, but haven't heard that they have actually completed that task. Maybe because they haven't found anything to replace it with? Be that as it may, this straightforward Wheat Cereal it is the best, and the only one out there we have found.

I want to like this cereal, I really do! I read that a Gastroenterologist recommends this. I eat this in yogurt with fruit, it’s the only way I can eat it! In my opinion it tastes awful lol. Sorry, I wish I liked it. Am I still going to buy it? Yes. Sometimes being healthy isn’t as tasty as you would like 😀

Fresh, fun crunchy . Reminds me of eating Grape-Nuts with my grandmother but so much more healthy. Will keep ordering.Love this company

This tasted awful. Really wanted to like it but had to throw it away.

I disliked the price. I could not believe I was stupid enough to pay £15 for 1 packet. I hoped it was a 6 pack.
