I love that it came as shown in the photos. I would recommend buying this if you love turtles. Cute and dainty necklace. Feels stainless steel. Doesn’t weigh much and very cute necklace.

The image in the listing is inaccurate. When shopping my thoughts are "wow, this is probably too good to be true, but hey, it looks like a decent box chain so that's worthwhile." Well, after getting the item I was sorely disappointed. The image I've included is from a website where this item was for sale for $2. The color of the turtle is different, but otherwise I'm pretty sure its what I got. That said, even this image is too flattering. What looks like synthetic opal in the seller's listing is really cheap, glitter paint in the actual item, and it was not as neatly applied as in the image I included. The chain is cheap crap. Given that I paid very little, it isn't worth my time to go through returning the item, but it's going to the trash. Save your time and don't buy.

My previous review was written by an angry 12 year old who received this for herself and her bff, when putting them on both chains broke and my daughter wanted to write the review but I feel a better one was needed. My review of the necklaces goes as follows: Very dainty. The turtles are slightly larger then a dime but are very pretty and nicely shaped. The chains are extremely thin so I would suggest swapping out with a thicker one should this be a gift for a younger child, it is easily breakable. Honestly for the price they are a good deal and very beautiful.

Cute, economical jewelry for younger girls that tend to lose them or give them away. At the price I paid they can afford to be generous or not as careful with them. I learned the hard way not to pay the price for 14K gold and CZ's yet! The jewelry is well worth the price I paid for cuteness alone. They can have fun with them and not worry about breaking the bank.

I received my opal turtle pendant today and can't tell you how pleased I am with it. It is described as the metal being alloy with the necklace being Sterling silver. There is definitely a 925 stamp on the chain clasp and does seem to be a nice quality box chain. I believe this is a lab made opal but it is absolutely beautiful with nice "fire". Thank you so much!

I at least expected it was made with shell but appears to be made with glitter glue inside a cheap metal/plastic shape. Returning as it's not worth $2 let alone the $12.99 I paid.
