amazing stuff

I needed this type of adhesive to repair a fiberglass statue, one made by a local artist. The statue is hollow and was mounted on a single metal rod that protruded through a 1/4" thick wood base that had been cemented inside the statue's hollow leg by the artist that made it. The wood base cracked. I replaced it with a piece of 1/4" aluminum that I bought from on-line metals and cut the the exact dimensions. I mounted the original bracket to the aluminum and used the weld to secure the aluminum to the fiberglass inside the statue's leg. It worked great. This stuff is excellent for attaching dissimilar materials (but it is not nearly as strong as a true weld which could not have been used here, of course)

So strong that I was totally surprised. My metal stair-railing outside was rusted out and I patched it up using this product. It looks good and is as strong as the metal was. My wife needs it to climb the stairs and put a lot force on it. NO PROBLEM!!
