This works perfect in my car and my dog loves it.

I purchased this seatbelt after an incident where I had to suddenly slam on my brakes to avoid hitting a deer while driving my dog to the park for her morning walk. I live in a rural area where deer are plentiful. Even though I was only driving 35 mph, my young dog was thrown from the seat and fell onto the floor. Since using this device, I've had to brake hard several times while my dog was a passenger. Fortunately, there were no tumbles to the floor during these instances. Attaching the strap to the headrest and the dog's harness is easy.
