my teenage son requested this for Christmas. It was priced to sell and works for his PC xbox and PS4. so it's adaptable which is always wonderful. My son who's 14 put it together by himself very quickly and it was minimal items to assemble.

Big hit with our teenage son. Easy to set up, responsive, and provides a realistic driving experience for his favorite racing games. He’s been enjoying hours of gameplay, and it’s held up well — a great addition to his gaming setup!

First the good: Once set up and working, it works well, feels good. The wheel vibration coordinates with rough road surfaces. It appears well built, rubberized grip feels firm and secure. The heel friction pad on the pedals helps secure the pedals and keeps them from slipping away from your feet (best with bare/sock feet for feel). The seller responded quickly with suggestions. After several exchanges, he suggested the wheel may have an issue and sent a free replacement, very generous. The replacement was recognized because I had finally figured out it would only work for my computer (a powerful gaming PC with Windows 10) as an Xbox controller and not a wheel. But both wheels worked the same, so apparently the first one had no issues or defects. The bad: Billed as a wheel, I tried to set it up as a wheel but none of the programs, Forza, Dirt4, PC 2, would even recognize its presence. The included software would load but not open the controller software adjustments. I tried downloading the software which installed but wouldn't reveal the controller setup. When I stumbled across the Xbox option and tried it, the wheel was recognized and could be set up and adjusted in the game input software. It took hours to figure all this out which was a pain. Amending the instructions to suggest installing as an Xbox controller would save a lot of time and headaches. Whether this limits functionality for those who are serious at fine-tuning control of a game I don't know. It serves my purpose as an occasional, casual gamer. I'd recommend the wheel as a decent, affordable accessory for those wanting to try the amazing realism of current driving/racing simulators. Without the initial confusion and headaches, I would have rated it 5 stars.

There arent really very many buttons on this device that actually work. Every time I go into my settings on ATS, I click a button to set a button and then if I go to set that same one again and click the same button, it registers as a different button! More than 5 different buttons are doing this, where if I re-register it twice in config, it sees a different button press each time. Its literally a button. How can one button output two different (seemingly random) signals? Itll register the first one like 2-3 times in a row and then randomly register a different button despite me not having touched anything else. What kind of games are we playing here? The US dollars I gave you arent completely and totally F'ed, but your product is. Lets not do that. If youre gonna take my real money, give me a real steering wheel. Is that too much to ask? I can see 18 buttons/levers on this device, but when I actually plug it in and start assigning keys, I noticed 4 of the buttons are all connected to the same thing and cant be changed. They are all called Button 7. The R1RB, forward shift, right lever pull thing AND one of the XY/AB buttons ALL share the same Button 7. So that means if you want your air horn to connect to the pull lever, it means you cant use the R1RB button for anything else, or the right pull lever or the forward gear shifter, or button 7 on the AB/XY. Also, vibration doesnt work. Hasnt worked, ever. And theres not one mention about it in the manual. The manual makes you scroll halfway in to find the few pages that are in English, and those pages dont give you any information about anything. Doesnt talk about a driver, a website to go to, any support for it, anything. Doesnt even mention anything about vibration or rumble capability or how to set it up! Sometimes I wish Amazon wasnt just a big Chinese junk dealer and actually sold products that work as expected and have manuals printed in English that actually make sense and tell you things about the product you purchased. What an absolute waste of my time and money. I was so stupid that I thought I could buy something on Amazon that's a quality product. RETURNING THIS IMMEDIATELY. THIS IS INSULTING THAT YOUD SEND THIS JUNK TO MY HOUSE.
