Great whole house water filtering. I use for one year and keeps the water nice and clear. Long lasting because of the large size.

Just what the doctor ordered for my RV. Many of the filters available have a large center hole that would not align with my filter, so water was bypassing the filter. I did not realize this until I changed it one day and notice that the impression on the rubber of the removed filter was crossing over the inside hole and determined that it was obvious that water was bypassing the filter. These filters have a small ID hole of 1-1/8". I am now sure that the water is getting filtered and not bypassed.

Worth the extra money. This filter from Pentair helps to remove the massive amounts of chlorine used in Arizona to sanitize the water The chlorine in the water damages the resin bed and water softeners. Decreasing the water softeners service life. Using this charcoal filter will also provide improved taste and removes odor from the water. I have tried other filters, I will stick with this Pentair Charcoal filter a head of my Kinetico Water Softener.

Very good price, well packaged, and no issues with the product. This will be my supplier from now on for our house filtration system.

My cottage well has some organic matter in it that has a bit of taste. I used just a particle filter before but when I used this with the charcoal filter it removed all of the taste and the solid particles and then sends the filter to the ozone purifier. The water at my cottage is amazing! Will be buying more of these for future use at my cottage.
