I ordered a 4-port KVM switch (2x HDMI) with some DisplayPort to HDMI cables. Whichever monitor was hooked up to my mini PC's displayport had issues. The monitor would sometimes work, sometimes not. I struggled looking for a solution in reinstalling my PC's display drivers, etc... I ordered this WARRKY cable as a last resort. I didn't think it would work but it looks very similar to the other cable. I was so happy that it worked. As soon as I connected the cable my computer picked up the second monitor. There was a lag or delay with the other cable that I just don't get with this WARRKY cable. So this cable is a problem solver and I'm thrilled it works well. I don't have to worry if my display will disappear when I reboot my PC or I switch inputs on the KVM switch. The manufacturer included instructions. It has some FAQs and troubleshooting At first I brushed it off aside, but then after reading it there's a lot of good information in there such as: "There is a passive vs active cable types that could determine if this is the proper cable." "If using a docking station/kvm/hub, be sure it support dp++." Really happy with this purchase.

works great ! even locks into place, quality made cable . runs my daughters double monitor set up no problems even transfers audio!

This is really a quality item. Works great and is just what you need to switch from display port to HDMI.

See update below: I bought a new (to me) Dell XPS tower that has one HDMI out and one DP out. I have two Acer monitors (sorry, I don't know the model #). The DP out (from computer) to HDMI in (on monitor), does not work. The screen is blank and I'm unable to interact with it in any way (via mouse cursor, etc.), nor does it show up on Windows Device Manager. I'm not sure why this doesn't work, but it doesn't. At least I didn't spend a lot of money on it. UPDATE: Warky offered to refund the full amount of my purchase without even asking for me to return it! (I accepted, of course) That's awesome! Way to go Warky!

Le cable a tenue 3 jours en 1080p.Constructeur,plutot que de vous occuper surtout du coté estétique d'un produit(surtout que celui-ci est est fait pour etre caché)vous feriez bien de vous occuper de la qualité des matériaux et de l'assemblage.Vous devriez aussi mettre de l'amortissant dans l'emballage car,Amazon,c'est pas trop leur truc(arrivé dans une envelloppe en papier craft sans rien pour amortir.
