Great stuff.
If you haven't ever used this product, there are a couple of things to be aware of. It comes out fast! Don't squeeze too hard. Also, it doesn't set up. As in it doesn't dry. Ever to the best of my knowledge. But it does become VERY sticky. Just something to be aware of depending on how you intend to use it. I used it in a portable application where I sandwiched it between two pieces of plywood. It comes out the ends and gets all over everything. Seems to be a great product.

Seems to work BUT
I liked that it seems to work somewhat but I dislike how long it stays really sticky. This stickiness may be what makes it work to reduce noise from passing through but just saying it stays sticky for days and to immediately clean off any from where you dripped. One other thing is I found that when the tube is empty a lot of wasted product gets left inside the applicator you screw on to dispense the glue. I therefore simply do not us the screw on applicator that is supplied with each tube. This stuff is expensive.

Our worst nightmare
If only we could go back in time to stop this disaster which made a bad problem worse in our condo. We are sandwiched between two demon neighbors and did over a year's worth of research on how we could deaden their inconsiderate behavior at all hours. We went with green glue and all recommended sealants as well as 5/8" sound deadening drywall. Because we are not able to reach all parts of the walls and frankly didn't want to, we dropped 10k (a middle of the line estimate) on buying the materials and labor for soundproofing both party walls on all three floors and the smallish wall that surrounded the patio slider. (Condo is 1000 sq ft) We heard zero difference. Actually that's not true, it took what were annoying sounds and isolated then amplified them into thuds. Given the rave reviews, this was completely out of left field and after giving it the 2 months time to supposedly become some super sound deadener, it didn't happen. We have never regretted a decision more in our lives and add to that the contractors got it everywhere and ruined the carpet on both sets of stairs, we are still finding it on doors, handles and anywhere they touched that had the slightest bit of GG on them. So from our experience, I would say run, do not walk, away from this idea you're reading reviews on. The toll the failure of this and the other products used for this has taken on my mental health is considerable. I'm hoping others don't have my same experience and was really hoping to be one of the rave reviews as well.

Maybe it’s amazing? Who knows
It’s hard for me to review a product like this. I used it between two layers of drywall in a music studio space. The room is very quiet, not perfect, but it’s hard for me to say what the green glue is doing vs the layers of drywall, overkill insulation, two doors with a gap, etc.... I knocked off a star because it’s very expensive for what it is and it’s sticky on areas I’m having trouble removing it. I highly recommend getting the 5 gallon buckets that are more cost effective if you’re doing a room. I only got this cause 2 buckets came up a little short.

perfect...did what i needed it to do.
It did have and left the room with a chemical smell but it went away after two days. I did about 6 windows , two small and 3 large with a quarter of the product left in the tube. It muffled our loud neighbors and barking dogs. so now it seams they are whispering all the time..lol

Significant reduction in sound transmission
Product worked great for me. I used it to attach a piece of 3/8" plywood to a hollow door and there is quite a significant reduction in sound transmission through the door. Note that it is not actually much of a glue or adhesive (and takes 30 days to cure ) so whatever type of panels you sandwich it between need to be nailed or screwed to each other.

Excellent
We had to build soundproofing walls on an entire side of the home (townhouse) because we have a noisy neighbor. These along with the special drywall and sealant have done the trick. I do not hear the neighbor anymore, it really works !

Defective bottom seal. Prepare for mess and cleanup labor.
The bottom of the tube fell out before I could even load it into the caulking gun. Huge mess and waste of time and resources. Clearly defective product seal.
