Heafty and strong but not difficult to open. Not flimsy at all! The rings are cut clean so bending them back will be easy. Came with the reference card too! They double bagged the rings in resealable bags which is super nice considering.

These rings are great for crafting and they're well made. For certain projects, size is crucial and these are very consistently sized with incredibly few rings that have any structural weaknesses. Yet, the description says that there is no rub-off. I've made quite a few things with these, to include a bracelet style fidget toy, and if I work with the rings or my fidget bracelet for long enough my fingers turn black and grey and it takes quite a bit of scrubbing to get it all off, so they description isn't as accurate as they would probably like. The chainmail armor I made didn't stain or mark the clothes I wore under it after a few hours, so it's not like the rub-off is super bad, but it gets annoying having to spend extra time washing my hands every time I take a break from my metalwork.

I like this product. I am new to this hobby and have only played with the Midwest products Chain maille kits that Amazon sells. I find those rings are difficult to close. These rings close fairly easily compared to those. Someone who is more experienced may have an even easier time then I did. These are shiny and look to be of good quality as far as I can tell from my limited experience. I will say that if you are looking to create fine jewelry, you don't want aluminum. You probably want silver, bronze, gold, or anodized Niobium. You can get all of the above from The Ring Lord or Blue Buddha (more expensive but in the US). For me, these are perfect to learn with. There are many weaves I have to learn and doing it with aluminum is best because it's cheaper. I love that I got so many for a great price. It works out to about less than 3/10 of a cent per ring. I weighed the bag of rings and I got 17 ounces. A pound is 16 ounces, so I got more than what I paid for. Always a good deal. Bottom line is that for a beginner or someone experimenting with a new weave, these are perfect. Great quality, great price, and easy to work with. I will buy more when I run out of these. My only wish is that he would come out with colors or a variety of sizes.

Product was exactly what i paid for. Its to be expected that the rings are a little weak - the ones i got were aluminium. Overall the product is in great condition and easy to use for a beginner like myself. Some rings were not cut completely from their coil (maybe four or five rings at a time per instance.) But i have a dremel that can fix that issue if absolutely needed. It also came with a True size chart and some looks at some patterns with sizes that can be used for them. Love that bit especially!!

Great quality. Need them to make keychains so that the charm doesn't fall off the chain and these work great. Very durable
