Grant 8540 Classic Series 13.5 inch Black 3-Slotted Black Spoke Steering Wheel

First things first..I love this steering wheel. It has a retro vibe that I think will really set off the look of my Torino. I've included a couple of pictures to show the dish this wheel has. The grip is alot harder than I thought it was going to be, but maybe it will soften up with time.The only complaint I have is the way it was shipped. In a huge box with absolutely no packing material. The wheel was allowed to bounce around inside the box and rip out of it's packaging. Really a let down and luckily no damage occurred to the wheel itself.

First off, the wheel with all parts supplied is nice for the price. However, as another reviewer noted, the packing is substandard. It came to me with no instructions, and no "silver foil disc" as required for a painted wheel (noted in the installation kit instructions). This meant that I had to locate the electrical contact points on the wheel and scrap off the paint (after I figured out what the problem was). Since the package had been squashed during shipping due to it's substandard packing, the instructions and part may have fallen out. I assume since the wheel is made in the USA, the packing is done in the USA, if so, that is a much, much poorer job of packaging than I have gotten from the items other countries shipped to me. The attached picture shows the box as I received it.
