Power Draw Crossbow Crank - Reduces Draw Weight 70% with MIL-SPEC Buffer Tube Mount

I am very impressed. The install was easy. It pulls back nice and even with ease. I bought it because I had surgery a couple weeks ago and currently have some limitations. This is getting me back out!!! Once I am healed it is going on my fathers so he has an easier time. Thank you so much for making products like this.

For short folks with an older Centerpoint Crossbow that does not come with a built in crank system, this is a MUST. I am unable to cock my centerpoint crossbow (HEAT 425/PATRIOT 425) with the regular rope cocker as I cannot get enough pull on it as in order to provide enough pull, I need to have the handles above my shoulders in order for it to latch, which is impossible as I run out of leverage at that elevation. This device circumvents that issue and requires very little effort. Words of advice: DO NOT use on non-Centerpoint crossbows. Double check the knots to make sure they are tight and snug. Buy extra line JIC. While cranking, DO NOT allow the line to wrap itself in the inner spool where the knots are. You will be sorry. If the Power Draw was not properly stored and you end up with a crisscrossed mess of line, let all of the line out and extend the part with the gold pulleys as far as it will go and then allow that part to "somersault" over itself as many times as necessary to untwist the line. If the line has any flattened spots or kinks in it, replace it or you risk a catastrophic failure that can damage your crossbow and most likely your hands and/or face!

It would NOT cock my crossbow when I received it. Bow string would bind just before cocking. After some frustration I noticed that the string on the cocker was wound so that the string was going over the top of the winch. I restrung it so the string is on the bottom, now works fine

This is a quality crank for my crossbow and works great. I would recommend the CenterPoint Crank.

It works nice sled gets caught up on the sled when lowering it back down once cocked. And I've now bought 3 due to the rope snapping. First one snapped after 10 times of use. Second one snapped on the first crank. And this 3rd one I was using it for 1.5 hours to get my scope sighted in. I now notice it's starting to frey. So easy to use and install but the string is complete garbage. I'm using a center point sniper elite 385 so draw weight is 185 idk if that's why but for those looking at this just know you'll need to get better rope for it

Easy to mount has a smooth action easy to dismount. Nice long crank handle with a very nice knob.SXturdy and well made. It looks nice and neat. Altho it is not silent it is very quiet. This bow has a long barrel and My legs are not long. I can cook my crossbow if I put both feet behind the limbs. Between the limbs and the cables. This cocking device is an absolute must for me. I will never own a plastic cocking device, This one is solid aluminum. Like any cocking device I have used, you need to completely roll it out once in a while to get any twists out of the strings. after you get familiar with it you will really appreciate it. mostly when sighting in my bow, Because I shoot so many arrows at one time.

There are 3 screws to tighten. After that, this cocking ratchet is ready. 1. To buyers that complain it doesn’t pull straight: my brand new item works well. In time, wether it failed to work prematurely or not, can’t comment for now. Is a double pulley device though-quite similar to the pull rope that comes with my crossbow. Pulleys on both sides need to turn with ease to work. 2. To buyers complaining it gets stuck in the safety lever: my pull rope also gets the pulley stuck. This is a shortcoming in the design of the safety: is located in the way of arming the crossbow string. 3. To prospective buyers: is a very well built mechanism. A sort of fishing pole ratcheting spool, but meant for extreme forces. It only slides on the bow for arming, then it slides out to live in a pouch somewhere. The metal is light, hard and well finished. The real drawback is the price, but once I’ve had this little arming tool in my hands, for as long as it keeps working I will appreciate the perfect fit on my bow.

The U bolt doesn't fit my Excalibur Grizzly. The one on top does but not the connecting one underneath. I didn't return it and I'll see if I can't fit it myself without danger.
