I am 5ft and 105lb. which size should i order?

Depends on how you like your sweatshirts to fit. I've been wearing L Men's sizes since my teens at 5'2" and 97 to 107 #'s. Also in my 20's into my 50''s some brands XL's. So now 20 years later starting into my 70's with a chronic edema problem I still wear L and XL depending on brand and if they are 100 percent cotton and shrink or not. My height is same but weight due to edema developed after a rock climbing fall I still pretty much wear them this big. I however have shortened their sleeves and recently bought Jerzees in an XL which I've had many times before but they were too big? So this is almost a trick question. I've never worn a medium period. My mother who was 5'8" very slim did wear Mediums. SO back to your question if you are slim then no larger then Med mens if you like them comfy big. If you want to add a zipper to make a hoodless jacket that still might work well. But if you like them a little more fitted but still roomy enough for light shirt layering under then go with the Small. Cotton tends to shrink a bit the fifty fifity blends not as much usually. Again brands play a big role here. I've pretty much tried and worn them all over the years. I make my own hoodless jackets too usually choose the XL to accomodate the zippers. So many attractive decorative number 5 nylon coil zippers these days like rainbows and pretty rose gold etc. You name it oh my just make sure they are separating zippers made for jackets so they zip all the way or you'll have to settle for part way down.

Is the anchor slate more of a purple color?

It’s a gorgeous, well worn Navy shade. In fact, It is the exact color of a navy blue hoodie I owned for approximately 15 years that was perfectly worn in and evenly faded. I lost that one and was SO happy when I opened this Anchor Slate hoodie to see it was the same color and soft, “well worn” fit. I’ll post a review and pictures to help 😊

Can someone with an XXL that's been washed measure the length from the back of the neck to the bottom ?

31” but this measurement is from a XL that has been washed several times. Hope this might help.

Perfect for what I wanted!

Soft and comfy. It is mens' sizing. I wanted oversized, ordered Med, it was gigantic ( It may be Big & Tall sizing) so exchanged for small. Much better, neck opening is larger than I like & sleeves much too long but its for wearing at home. The wrist elastic could be tighter but hey, for the price I love it. Very comfy, perfect thickness for 60-70 degrees. Not for cold winters, this is a lightweight,good quality shirt. the color is rich. I am 5'2", 120 lbs for reference. I like its tunic length.

Perfect simple cold weather top

I'm a 5'8 woman and I wear size 2x for most tops. I ordered 3x for this as I wanted it to be oversized for layering and comfort for winter. So if you prefer yoyr sweats oversized just right go 1 size up. This is very comfortable! Warm! Soft!. It's perfect weight and not thin , Also not overly heavy. I'll definitely buy more of these!

Perfect length for leggings

Can’t beat the price for a Hanes sweatshirt. Soft, and not too thick. True to size and good for a crisp fall day. Color is also nice. I like how it is tunic length and pairs well with leggings as it covers your bottom. We shall see how it holds in the wash but so far I like it a lot.

Decent, affordable sweatshirt

Fairly comfortable sweatshirt--lightweight with a soft fleece (thin) lining, Not as substantial as higher priced competitors (Columbia, Champion, Carhartt, etc). The ribbed neck and sleeves are nicely stitched but very loose. OK for inside during chillier months. The fabric material is adequate---soft cotton--and pretty durable. Overall quite baggy fit, even for a wide-shouldered man of average weight.
