Ugly’s Electrical References, 2020 Edition

Great instructional book for my electrician hubby

I purchased my Ugly's book 3 months after a 1-star reviewer stated that his book had missing division lines on page 15. I checked mine, see pic, and mine is correct. I guess he got one of the probably very few bad copies that managed to get past QC. He mentioned he still "had 185 pages to check", but we haven't heard back from him...so I'm guessing that was the only error in his copy. Honestly, this is Amazon. Return it, get a replacement at no cost and move on with your day. 1-star rating for a single typo, umm, OK. Anyway...I give it 5 stars because it the best concise, COMPACT electrical reference book for residential, commercial & industrial low-voltage applications...and by low-voltage I mean <≈1000V. No book is perfect, but this one comes close considering it a pocket reference book that you can keep in your tool case, vehicle or remote office, and not a 10lb, 400-page, hardcover reference book of some sort that is sitting on a shelf somewhere. Its contents will cover probably 95% of a field electrician or electrical project manager's needs. For less than $15 bucks it's really a no-brainer.

It has all the info of a normal book. But the quality of the book is a little downgraded from previous books I have purchased.

I know nothing about electricity, and it's always confused me, but the more I get into making things with sbc's and microcontrollers, the now I needed this book. It has paid for itself many times over with the number of times it's stopped me from hooking up to many volts, or was pushing to many amps. It's just really helpful to have all that information in an easy to navigate book for all of your electrical references. Definitely a must-have.
