Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered these for my son’s 5th birthday party with was Jurassic World themed. We added these in as a game for the kids. They had to find the eggs in a sandbox and then seen who could excavate the Dino from inside of the egg first. It was very fun and it did require the kids to put in some work so it kept them occupied for a while.🤣😂 Messiness:Best if played with out doors as this could get messy. Fun but messy when cleaning up behind it.

The best outdoor activity for a dinosaur birthday party! All ages included. It was the cutest and brought so much excitement for the kiddos. Worth every minute penny.

I purchased this dino egg kit for an activity for my girls to do for our Dino Week at school. The girls had so much fun digging their dinosaurs out of the eggs! They couldn't wait to see which ones they got. We really liked the dinosaur cards as well. They helped to reinforce our knowledge of each dino as well as vocabulary words like herbivore and carnivore that we had been learning about. Not only is the actual activity fun but they also love playing with the little dinosaurs once they dug them out. We can't wait to make the balloons later in the week! The only suggestion I would give is to make sure you wet the egg before/as you dig. It was definitely messier but much easier to break bits of the egg. We also used little plastic hammers to help dig. Overall, we're very pleased with this kit!

We used these for a science themed birthday party archeology dig- the kids loved it! We hid the eggs in sand, and each kid was able to dig up an egg and crack it open. We spread a huge tarp out in the grass to contain the mess, as these were very powder when broken, and very messy. The trading card with Dino facts was a perfect compliment. We bought 2 sets to cover all the party goers. Things that were a bit tricky, 1) the cards were hard to fully identify which Dino matched which toy, and 2) there was enough brush/picks for each egg, but only 1 hammer and chisel, could have used more of these tools.

The media could not be loaded. The product got my attention with the design at first and then I understood the game with digging the egg and checking about the figure with the info cards and after all of it which it takes some time to dig the eggs and read about your dino you get to the point that you need to literally DIY creating a dinosaur out of a balloon.listen, this is the first time I saw my daughter was actually excited from getting a new toy or a game! this is by far the best dinosaur toy I have ever bought and it's unbelievable to find such an amazing quality toy on Amazon these days!It's an amazing game a lot of fun and hours of stem creativity, for that price its a 5 stars and I would buy it again for a present or for any kind of event..

This is one of my 6 year old sons favorite busy item! It keeps him occupied and he loves being an archaeologist! We’ve ordered these and received them as gifts quite a few times over the last few years.

This is the best thing you can do for a birthday party. It kept the kids (ages 4 thru 9 ) occupied for more than one hour. The digging part is very messy, but it washes off everything, but totally worth it, the kids did required some help digging and putting the ballons together. At the end they enjoyed it and it's a combo activity and favor pack. The kids stay occupied and they go home with balloons that look like dinosaurs, dinosaur cards with information about dinosaurs and plastic dinosaur figurines. If your kid is into dinosaur as much as mine, he will absolutely love it.

We bought these for my son’s 2nd birthday, and I thought we would blow through this activity in one day. To my surprise, the eggs are hard to chisel through, but it’s been a good thing! We’ve been doing one a day, and it really works his fine motor skills. The kit also includes a craft where you can make dinosaur balloons so we chisel out the egg, find the dinosaur, and make the corresponding dinosaur balloon. My son and I look forward to doing this activity each day, and it takes 30 minutes to an hour for us! Such a good activity for parents and kids to do together!
