The mesh is a bit tricky but it's still great.
First time using worbla thermoplastic, it works really well, it's easy to use, the mesh is really annoying however, it doesn't cut very well and is hard to get a nice finish with frayed bits of mesh everywhere, also seems to take away from the stickiness on the mesh side. I'd probably buy regular worbla in future but this stuff is still great.

Versatile and effective: I am very pleased with worbla.
I bought this as a trial, and I think it is brilliant stuff. It is the 'missing link' for which I have been searching. I am a fabricator and an artist in wood and paint and leather. I use all sorts of materials, but have found difficulties joining plastics to plastics, and some other materials, under certain strains and stresses over time. I have added some photos of a recent personal project I have been working on, trying to repair some orthotics, and strengthen the 'Heel Counters' in my shoes. (My attempts to make new Orthotics in the photos were a fail, but no matter. It nicely demonstrates the various properties of Worbla). When heated, Worbla has three characteristics which makes it stand out from other thermoplastics: 1 - it melts and re-sets at a lower temperature, so it is possible to mould it with thin gloves (or even fingers if they are a bit heat-resistant like mine). 2 - it comes in sheets, but it is mouldable into a putty, so there is NO WASTE with off-cuts. (see my photos to see how I use it as both sheets and putty). 3 - And this is it's most outstanding characteristic to me: when heated, it becomes increasingly tacky. Heat it a little, and it is slightly sticky, so it can be put in place. Re-heat it a bit beyond the initial heat, and it becomes much more tacky, and I have so far found it will make a strong bond with other thermoplastics, to EVA foams, to fabrics and leather.
