Why is it Worth the Money?
Because: (1) It is wonderfully easy to assemble. I was expecting a nightmare of parts where Slat A had to fit into Slot 1 of the right section of the lower back, etc, etc. But no. It can't be simpler. There are only four (4) parts -- the sides (which include the legs), the back with the slats pre-installed, and the seat with the slats also pre-installed. And better yet, each part fit perfectly. All the hardware was included. The Allen's wrench was included. All the pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly. No adjustments needed to be made. Yes, even I, a mechanical klutz, could put it together. (2) It is a nice sturdy bench. No wobbles, no creaking, no collapsing when I sit on it. (3) It is as comfortable as any slat-type bench can be. To add additional comfort for my 78-year-old arthritic body, though, I intend to purchase a cushion. (4) It's a cute bench. I like that the top back rail is gently curved, giving a slight contrast to all the straight lines of the deck and railings. (5) The size is perfect for smaller porches/decks. And Finally: (6) Great Delivery: The bench arrived well within the specified dates. It was well packaged with styrofoam running the inner circumference of the heavy cardboard box. There was also padding between each section of the bench. It spoke of pride in a product that they did not want damaged. It is a product well worth the money.

Darling, sturdy, crazy-easy to assemble!
I’m a bit of a design snob and I’m giving this bench an A+++ for adorableness, ease of assembly (you’re talking to somebody who can barely operate a toaster, lol), and sturdiness. Though this thing is light-ish weight, it’s also super solid and well built. (Taking into account it’s a DIY modular-assembly design.) Nothing about this bench looks fake - no disgracefully shiny veneers on this baby. And there’s a big difference in my book between cheap-ass (i.e., junk with super limited use-life) and cheap. (Budget-conscious.) This thing is the latter. Mine is shown with a 44”x19” cushion (also sold by Amazon - search “Gregoire Prima Cushion,” if you want your own.) Even though it doesn’t fit the bench as perfectly as I like (see second photo accompanying my review), I was so attached to the vivid garden print that I made due with it and threw on some pillows I snagged months ago at Target to camouflage the gaps as seen from the side. (On my porch, the side views will be concealed by an accent table on one end and large potted plants on the other, so only I will know it’s wearing bloomers just a tad too small for its big girl self.) Oh, and it’s also super comfortable, ergonomically speaking. I like a nice upright back (save your back and learn to sit ON your sit bones, people), and this is just right for my preferences and biomechanical integrity! I hope you’re as mad about it as I am and that this review inspired you to buy! (No, this isn’t a paid promotion, I just like to sing the praises of stuff that brings me joy!)

Good bench, some flaws in paint
Easy to put together and looks nice, but there were several chips in the paint, and some areas where the paint was very thin. It's an outside bench for us and looks nice on our front porch.

Beautiful, sturdy, white bench, and with two adults, it’s easy to assemble
Pretty, sturdy, and comfortable bench that’s easy to assemble with two people. It seats three average adults. Ours had cracked paint spots, and loose back boards because something heavy had probably been set on it during shipping, so would recommend thicker, and more packing.

Beautiful bench!
I am in love with this bench! It was easy to assemble and required no tools or materials. It did come scratched on the top right side of the back of the chair but isn't really noticeable and can be touched up with paint. It is a great bench for a great price!

Quality and Beautiful
This bench is an amazing value, beautiful and well constructed with the exception of one of the front legs. It was a tad shorter than the other front leg, but we put something under it to level it. We love this bench, and highly recommend.

Don't Buy this If It's for Outside
We bought this bench to place at the entrance of our home 15 months ago, it sits under the eave outside and gets very little use outside of the decorative purpose. About two weeks ago I sat on it and heard a loud crack coming from under me. When I looked the front piece of wood making the front facia of the bench had cracked from top to bottom, (see pictures). I went to the order invoice and tried to get customer support to see if I could purchase a repair piece, when I clicked on the link provided by Amazon it took me to a message that told me the link was not valid. I then called Amazon customer service and after a lot of waiting around I was given an email address to what they said was the manufacturer's support email. Well, I wrote the manufacturer with an explanation of what I wanted to do and pictures of the bench. I got a very fast response from that address saying that they have never sold anything on Amazon and they don't make benches. Oh well, back to Amazon customer service and this time the givem the Amazon warraty questions email address, off I send the complete email trail of what is happenning and why I am writing them. I copied Amazon customer service also. To this date, almost a week later, I have not heard back from Amazon, as such, I have to deem my efforts as worthless, as well as Amazon's customer service. I have now tried to repair the bench on my own, gluing and screwing the break area to shore it up with no success at all. The wood has turned to mush and won't hold a screw and cracks again when sat on. Oh, I am 6" 1"/220 lbs, so not light, but not huge either. I have also found that the wood has also come appart in one of the top links in the back. It was soft and I could poke a hole in it with finger pressue. As such, I would not consider buying this piece of junk again at any price, even for free. 15 months of use for something that is supposed to be outside certainly is not worth the price or effort to put together. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF JUNK.
