The Bradford Exchange Richfield Hardwood Collector Plate Frame

I am not a plate collector, but I was given a series of four plates that I never hung up. I'm not fond of metal and wire plate hangers; the wire edges always distract from the plate's artwork. These are quality frames and worth the money. There are metal clips at the back that hold the plate securely and are completely hidden. Also, the clips are designed to hold the plate without scratching the plate's edges. The finish of the wood is very smooth and even, and the color is rich. I am very happy with how these worked out;

I have a collection of 8 1/4" plates and these frames are actually too big for those. I used to be able to get a smaller sized frame but not anymore. As a result, I use pieces of cardboard to fully secure the plate in the frame. Without the cardboard inserts, the plates would not fit securely. Otherwise, I love the way the frames look.

The frame is of a sturdy quality wood and was sized as advertised. It securely displays a decorative plate that I received as a gift. Very happy with the purchase.

Love these! They make plates look so much better when you're hanging them. Little pricey, but worth it. Also love that they come with a hanger that does not show! The ones you buy at the store always showed at the top after they were hung.

Perfect frame for a collector plate that was part of a nautical-themed bathroom remodel. Easy to put the plate into. Easy to hang. Looks great in the finished room. It was a good decorative choice for our project.

The frame barely fits around the plate but it covers everything. I have other frames for Bradford plates and they fit the same way. So the product was what I expected. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 stars because I think they are over priced but as far as I know there are no stores that sell a comparable product.

I was so surprised that the price did not go up. I purchased these same plate holders 15 years ago. This one cost me no more than the ones I got so long ago. It is made just as good.
