Hand-Held Magnifying Glass

Lightweight and just the right magnification. It found a good spot in our kitchen drawer to read food labels and other miniature prints. The price was decent, and this magnifying glass should hold up well.

I ordered this magnifying glass along with a Butterfly Garden kit so 5 kids could more closely watch the changes occurring in that ecosystem. The magnifying glass has held up being yanked, thrown, banged, and dropped by the kids and it's still totally functional and looks new. Most importantly, the kids are learning not just butterflies but also other various things with this inexpensive tool. It arrived promptly and exactly as described. Highly recommend.

This magnifying glass is great quality and easy to clean. It’s not too big or too small, and I like the grip material on the handle. The way the handle is shaped also makes it easier for my toddler to hold on to. This product is good for both adults and kids! My toddler loves playing detective with it and using it to search and find the items in his I Spy books.

I've bought four of these little magnifiers over the past couple years; have one in my car, one on my kitchen table, one one on the coffee table, and one in my office/den. They are easy to find (bright green accents) and the 3" diameter lens is a convenient size--small enough to fit in a pocket for in-store use on tiny price tags. The focus is even across the entire lens. After trying a few other magnifiers, I've found this one to be the abosoute BEST VALUE on Amazon. I suggest you give them a try. You won't disappointed!

Doesn't scratch, very clear!! A must have for reading small print. This is used by everyone in my household.

In short, I was hoping that using this product would be hassle-free. It was not. I've used the magnifying glass a few times now, and while it is functional, it was not easy to use. The problem is that there is little room for error when looking through the lens. I was trying to carefully examine an image containing small details. Despite moving the lens slowly, I was forced to repeatedly adjust the angle to bring the image into focus. It was annoying and made it difficult to concentrate on the actual task at hand. It was fine if I was only looking at one spot, but that makes it less useful for me.
