An unnecessary expense
Having purchased the F3, this should come with it remembering it's price!Anyway, got it, it works, annoying to pay extra but nothing I can do about it

Limited transmission
The idea of having remote control on the Zoom F6 appealed to me but unfortunately the transmission power is so low that one needs to be in a very good environment for it to function without dropping the connection. In a good clean (free from other wireless signals) environment, then I found that it could keep a connection for up to 7 metres but most of the time that's not possible, which makes it fairly useless for me.

Limited functionality with Zoom q8n-4k. Need to keep the phone on constantly.
I used this with a Zoom q8n-4k camera to record music Open Mic events, it works well for stopping and starting the recording and for monitoring (but not adjusting) sound levels, but that's all.Every time the phone screen goes to sleep or you open a different app the bluetooth connection to the camera is lost and must be manually re-established, this involves several steps on the camera and phone and it can't be done when a recording is in progress.If you're going to keep your phone screen on all the time and not use any other apps all night, it's fine but I found the constant interruptions to the connection useless and therefore so is the BT adaptor. Sent it back.

Working BUT
Works OK but way way over priced

F6 No android support, IOS looksand feels outdated and is a little untrusty and clunky.
Zoom F8 has an updated Android app but the which I have F6 only has IOS support and it looks and feels very old and outdated.The faders didn't respond one time making it kinda untrusty and too many taps just to rename tracks, no way to format card while connected etc.Worth £15 not £30

When it works, it works...
When it works, it works well. Plenty of connection issues mid-show, on a a number of separate occasions. Not reliable at all.
