I got three for my kitchen fitting.I have no complaints but some observations.1) these are not Wi-Fi bulbs .. they connect to the Alexa device via Bluetooth so Alexa device needs to be near the bulbs. If Alexa is connected to Wi-Fi she can control them from anywhere as normal.2) the phone app control only works via Bluetooth as the bulbs do not connect directly to Wi-Fi .. so you must be in the same room to use app functions (unless connected to Alexa device.3) the bulbs have a really cool candle flicker setting. This can only be activated in the Philips hue app. Alexa cannot turn on the candle flicker. Alexa can only turn off - turn on and adjust brightness.Overall the bulbs look great and once set up are a pleasure to use. Just need to be aware that they are Bluetooth rather than directly Wi-Fi controlled.

I'm a big fan of Philips Hue and general smart home gadgetry and buying a filament bulb has been a long time coming. After decorating my kitchen I fitted a wall light (bought on Amazon) and fitted this bulb in it. As always, it was detected by the Hue app and Alexa right away. The brightness and power can be controlled via voice and the aesthetic is impressive. Admittedly, I do prefer the older, original, 'stringy' filament rather than a coil shape, but this is good enough especially from a distance. Gives a good glow and as mentioned, the bulb itself, is a nice attraction. if you want to go a bit 'steampunk' or retro, these bulbs definitely set the scene. Hue bulbs seem expensive until you take the plunge and relish their beauty. They have transformed my home.

As I had already invested in hue lighting system, these were a bit of a no brained when needing to replace the hallway lights with more vintage looking bulbs. They work really well and were easy to install and find in the app. The light is not bright, they don’t profess to be, and give off more of a warm orange light. Bright enough for a hallway but wouldn’t use them anywhere where you need a clear white / bright light.

Phillips Hue bulbs are great - they are easy to install and provide a really useful way of managing your lighting in your house - but they aren't cheap! This one sells itself as warm light - but its far more 'yellow' in tinge than I had expected - its also not capable as being as bright as I expected. Aesthetically it is beautiful and looks really good in the open plan style of lamp that it is seated in, but I do expect more from Phillips.

If you want a fancy looking bulb that’s led and Alexa controlled this works really well, it looks great and works well if you have other hue bulbs and the hub. I haven’t tried this over Bluetooth. It does flicker very slightly that isn’t noticeable unless you’re looking at it, but it imitates a real bulb perfectly. The brightness is a little disappointing compared to the other hue bulbs but works fine on a decorative lamp of brightness isn’t the main requirement.

I love this Bulb , it connects to the hue app and comes on with the alexor app when i ask it to or on the timer and it looks cool as well , one of the bargains of hue and lets face it there are not many hue bargains , i belive there is a new version of this out now tho so worth checking

I have used Philips Hue for a couple of years now, was using the coloured but decided to update my light fitting and the coloured bulbs would not have looked right in it. I had read reviews on the filament bulbs with some saying they gave off a too warm light, this didn't concern me as I like a warm light for this room. I was worried they may not be bright enough, as I have a large room, only had one coloured Hue bulb in the previous light fitting and that was not enough on its own.I was not disappointed with these bulbs, on the brightest setting they light up the room well, I even just tried one bulb on its own and was surprised at how bright it was, on a lower setting they give off a nice warm relaxing tone. Not sure if there has been an update as they are not as orange as some peoples seemed from other reviews and photos, I would have like them a little warmer but I love the overall effect from these bulbs.

Ordered at 16:00 in the highlands of Scotland, delivered 09:00 the next morning. Quality product from Philips, have bought cheaper version in the past which did not last a week, better paying a little more for a great product. Easy to install and connect up to your smart phone
