I have a 15 yr old 22ft 2-log pontoon in Mid-Missouri. I have a lift and store in a shed over winter. I have power washed a few times but was told I needed to clean it up once a year. I applied mid summer in the shade according to instructions. I sprayed this on the outside of the pontoons and power rinsed it off according to instructions. I found using a sponge on the second application helped even out the acid wash finish. The water line was still present, but this did a good job I probably should have used a second gallon but got tired.

The product works very well as described. My only complaint is the sprayer. Every time I've bought it with the sprayer, the sprayer would fail half way through the job. Every time! I end up pouring it into a cheap empty spray bottle to complete the job. Better off buying it and using your own spray bottle.

I purchased an old 1996 20ft pontoon with heavy buildup of material and oxidation on the pontoons. Toon-Bright with a regular hose doesn't work. I rented a gas power washer and that made all the difference. Steps to make a perfectly clean pontoon: - Tools: Pump Sprayer (Provided sprayer; takes to long, leaks, hurts your hand etc... spend the $5 at Home Depot) Power Washer (rented from home depot for $15/day. I could have done the whole boat in a day if I rented this in the beginning). - Steps: (the trick is to save the cleaner and do a lot of coats). Wash toons and scrape (from top to bottom not down the side, carefully) off any big material (this will save you cleaner) Power Wash thoroughly (spend 10~20 min) the more you wash the better the next coat works. Spray with pump sprayer (not provided sprayer) evenly from !!!bottom to top!!! (Just enough to cover save your cleaner for next coat)(follow instructions don't let it dry etc..), and repeat. no need to add more coats (save your cleaner for next coat) of cleaner the trick is to let it work and power spray off what it removed. Do Not: Sand or use wire wheel it will leave scratches when your done. Notes: It took me an entire bottle per side of one pontoon, but again this was heavy buildup. Clean your pump sprayer with water if you intend to use it ever again. I also noticed that the cleaner removed the oxidation better if you let it run over it rather then spray it directly on. Notes for seller: drop the sprayer and transfer the cost to the customer so we can rent the sprayer and buy the pump sprayer. Conclusion: I purchased other cleaners and after using Toon-Brite I will be purchasing this product in the future.

The product works, but the pump dies about halfway through and you need to figure a way how to pump it out with a different type of pumping system. Tried it on both containers and both did the same thing. Sprayer is not very well.

Have 20 foot pontoon boat that sat in water for 4 months-this product easy to use and made pontoons look like new-sprayer it on and hose it off

Buy it! Pros- Works amazing! Spray it on, watch it foam up and "melts" the grime off your pontoons... then spray the melted grim off with the hose... repeat as needed. Cons- The sprayer that it came with worked for about 30 seconds then broke... so have a old bottle with a sprayer handy to transfer the product into for use. One jug was not enough to do both sides of the pontoons... had to buy another jug.... so order two! Great stuff, well worth the money!

product dose not work as advertised / dose not spray on and wash off anything / i would need 100 gallons to clean my boat / 1 gallon or 1/2 gallon is a huge waste of time & money / i have a 16; aluminum boat and it would take 300.00 or 400.00 hundred dollars to clean it correctly with this stuff / not what they advertise it as / be carful they don't tell you that you can not return it no matter if it works or not / you buy it you loose your money !!!!!
