I should have written this review years ago! This Bacon Jerky (Siracha) and Beef Jerky (Original) are so incredibly tasty and addictive! I've been enjoying every kind of jerky I can try for over 50 years! Everyone has their own tastes and preferences of course, regarding thickness, chew, flavor, spice, heat, freshness, etc. However, when I finally stumbled upon this company and their products several years ago, I just found it is such an overall perfect balance of everything! This review is for the Siracha Bacon Jerky and the Original Beef Jerky. The flavors are perfect! Just a wonderful balance of flavor! Amazing customer service too and they respond so fast to any questions! I've tried thousands of different brands of jerkies. These beef and bacon jerkies really are the absolute best! Before you experience them, you just can't imagine how good they are. And unless you've tried thousands of jerky products, you really can't appreciate just how amazing it is when you come across a jerky that has the right balance of everything - freshness, flavor balance, easily chewable, right size, tearability, thinness, flavor lingers, just everything! It took half a lifetime to find this product and my family is never going back! Thank You so much! They are really addictive products, that's the only downside! My family has been on the Subscribe and Save delivery program (6 packs of Original Beef and 6 packs of Siracha Bacon per month) and we all have to ration them and make sure our order lasts a month and not a few days! Just a great Jerky product. I just love the thin slices, so easy to chew, very fresh and tasty, great flavor balance, not too salty or sweet or spicy or hot, just a great balance all around, and perfect size, great for snacking, lunches, treats, etc! Give them a try! I'm so glad I did!

I enjoy spicy food. Usually when something claims, "Caution: Extremely Hot & Spicy" I just roll my eyes and say, "Yeah, right." While I wouldn't consider it "extreme", it should still get the attention of even a seasoned capsaicin connoisseur. I consider it comfortably hot. My face may start to sweat, but I'm not desperately reaching for something to drink. For the uninitiated, it will definitely pose a challenge, as many of my coworkers can attest. Even so, one thing everyone has agreed on is the delicious flavor. A very nice balance of sweet and peppery goodness. Excellent texture as well. Not so tough and dry that you feel like you're going to rip your teeth out trying to tear off a piece. It's still a little moist and chewy. I couldn't help myself and finished off an entire bag in one go. No regrets. The only real con is it's a bit pricey. But grass-fed beef tends to be, and the quality of this meat is clearly evident. Highly recommended.

This product seems to be good but I prefer the sticks. The taste isn't bad and the quality seems good. Was packaged good and arrived on time.

I was very disappointed by the Sriracha bacon jerky that I ordered. I know that products rarely, if ever, show up in person looking like like they do in advertisements but the jerky that I received couldn't be further from the description or the image that accompanied it: it was very thin and limp, extremely damp and greasy, and although the seasoning was enjoyable, the jerky itself offered almost no flavor at all. I've purchased other brands of bacon jerky both online and at grocery stores and I know that, while bacon jerky is always going to be a bit chewier and greasier than beef jerky, it absolutely does not have to have the unpleasant texture that this product had.

I have purchased and eaten what has undoubtedly become an unhealthy amount of this bacon jerky treasure. I rarely buy grocery store jerky, not even the "gourmet" kind, as it just never impresses me and ends up being an expensive "desperation" purchase to satisfy a jerky craving. I'm a snob that either eats homemade or bothers to drive myself to a craft store. But THIS STUFF has become my favorite. I rarely leave reviews, as I'm a lazy jerky snob to boot. However, I gotta give these people props. They have created an addiction I didn't know I had, and will now have to strictly monitor. Thanks for that. If I have one complaint, one minor criticism, it's that the particular batch I got this time was a bit "fatty." Now, under normal bacon circumstances, this would be ideal and praised in almost worshipful fashion. However, being that there is a fine tightrope balance between bacon and jerky that Mission Meats has dared to precariously walk down (and they own it like a model strutting down the cat walk by the way), the fattiness unfortunately waters down the delicious intensity of flavor and spice. This obviously has more to do with the meat selection, and is bound to happen from time to time. That's it. The tiniest of criticisms. The flavor still rocks, and I hope the recipe never changes. If you ever sold a jar of the marinade, I'd probably drink it. Amazon folks, do yourself a favor. Buy the 6 pack. Or buy two of them. Don't buy the three pack. You'll just be sad when you've eaten all of it in one day, and there's no more bacon jerky to get your sticky fingers on. At least with 6 you've got a good two days of bacon jerky. UPDATE: It seems these folks take reviews quite seriously, as when I purchased another batch, it was the densest, crunchiest, most flavorful pack I've received from them. The fattiness I mentioned was balanced out perfectly. I don't know how they managed it, but I'm grateful. This stuff rocks, and I'm saving up to buy more. MissionMeats, you've got an amazing thing going for you, please don't ever change.
