It really IS too good to be true!
Like others have said this is "too good to be true"! As a sufferer of gout, sometimes it becomes too painful to walk. This year, an infection in my right foot caused a gout attack on my left, leaving me bedridden for a whole month. I was making multiple trips to the doctors to get things diagnosed and checked and crutches did not make the pain or the trip any easier! Once the pain was unbearable on both feet, I decided to go out and purchase a wheelchair to use instead, as well as to have if a similar issue ever occurs in the future.Since I have never thought of or purchased a wheelchair before, I was relying solely on the information given in the description and reviews. After much searching, this seemed to be the best. I was a bit skeptical at first since the price was so low! Other wheelchairs similarly priced always had some issue that made them not ideal. They would be too small, don't come with feet rests or the feet rests weren't height adjustable, the wheels and other parts were made with cheap materials. This was the only one with high reviews as well as good mentions on all these areas! The final thing that sold me was when I tried looking at wheelchair rentals instead. The local places that rented out wheelchairs used these ones! When it finally arrived, right out of the box I could feel the quality. Unfolding it was easy and noticed right away how sturdy it was. However, it was NOT heavy and hard to move around! Surprisingly light for a good quality wheelchair. The best part is how roomy the seat is, but the wheelchair as whole wasn't as big. I was scared getting a bigger seat like 20" would make it difficult to go through the narrow corridors of our old house, but the wheels didn't add much width and was able to get around fine. I used it for my final trip to the doctor (before I was able to walk again) and it was the most pleasant experience I could get from a hospital visit.Lastly, I read in other reviews that sitting in the seat for a prolonged time could get uncomfortable, but I was in the waiting room for a few hours and it wasn't at all bad. I don't usually have problems sitting in the same seat for prolonged periods unless its a hard seat like wood or plastic. So if you are like the others, I would just suggest getting a seat cushion to solve this small issue. There is nothing else I could think of and this wheelchair is too good of a deal to pass up!

Invacare LightWeight Tracer EX2 Wheelchair 20" with Swingaway Footrest
This chair was delivered promptly and in good condition. It was easy to assemble (foot rests and some trivial parts). Having no prior personal experience with wheelechairs, I bought this one for my mother-in-law, after having done some cursory research online and in town, for her use during her extended stay. We've now had it for about 5 1/2 months. While it's not the absolute lightest, portable-ist, high-end-ist chair, we have found that it is most satisfactory. And at the price (we paid about $132 at Amazon) it was a great value.Note that this chair does not have flip-up arms, so if 20" is not wide enough or you need to load/unload from the side, I would not recommend this chair for you.My mom-in-law doesn't use it full-time. Rather, we use it for her when we take her for day trips to the Galveston Seawall or other sightseeing, so she doesn't have to walk so much. Since I have some back problems, I sometimes share it with her, so I have used it a little myself. It's reasonably comfortable, though I can't speak to how it would feel as a full-time chair. The 20" width was a smart way to go. It fits me as well as mom-in-law (I'm a 40" waist), and for mom it allows space to carry a bag on the side.It is actually more spacisous than current airplane coach seats.About 10 lbs. lighter would be nice, but would be an unreasonable expectation at this price. I can manage loading/unloading it alone if I have to, but a second person helping is really nice. We usually transport it in my minivan, but we have also managed to tranport it in my wife's Mazda3 (with the back seats folded down). It is not hard to fold or unfold. The rear wheel locks work well. It's easy to push with moderate effort. I've used it on hilly sidewalks and on grass and dry ground. Some folks suggest the 'transport' chairs because they're lighter for transport, but I suspect that the big rear wheels of this chair make it easier going on rougher pavement or ground. For needs similar to ours, I would certainly recommend this chair.PS: It probably fits well in some car trunks if there is pretty much nothing else in the trunk. Also, we have learned that taxi cabs DO NOT like to pick up wheel chairs. If you expect to need a cab with this (or likely any other) chair, you will need to find a Taxi minivan or similar vehicle 'on the fly', whichi can be a challenge. I suggest that if you expect to have the need, have a taxi company phone number with you so that a suitable vehicle can be dispatched to you.
