Nice coffee for a good price
We recently bought a bean to cup machine as are missing our usual trip for a 'proper coffee' due to lockdown. We started 'safe' with brands we knew and now have been trying various different beans. These are great - nice and smooth, not too bitter and a lovely flavour. I made my Aunty whose a bit of a 'coffee connoisseur' a cup yesterday and she immediately said 'oooh, good coffee!' so I thought it was worthy of a review ☕😂

Roasted date and dispatched date
Bought this coffee beans on 16/8 and received the next day but the roasted date was 5 Aug. Expected the roast date was much closer date as its package says Coffee reaches its peak flavour 24 -72 hours after roasting.

Recommended by a Colombian
I'm Colombian and usually buy my coffee from small producers every time I visit my family. But due to the pandemic, I had to start buying my coffee in the UK and after trying several supermarket brands, I decided to give this coffee a go. Smooth flavour - as most arabica coffee - with fruity notes and good value for money.

Medium/dark, not light roast
Sorry to say that, but to me it's more on the bad side. I've tasted worse, but I won't buy this pack again. It's medium to dark roast, not light, and the taste was bland from a pour-over. I've tried several different settings—still no luck. Could make a good cappuccino though. I also received not the freshest one—a bit less than a month since the roast date. Unfortunately, I cannot return it as it is already opened and used, so I'll stay with 1kg (minus 3 * 15g for trying to get something acceptable from it) of bad coffee.

Unpleasant taste
Don't know if I got a bag that was from the bottom of the roasting machine but my beans were very bitter tasting, tried various grinding options but still had a very unpleasant taste, maybe just got a duff bag , good value for money though if you want a large batch of beans
