Olmsted Forge Garden Tool Set, 5 Pieces, Heavy Duty Powder Coated Steel, Cork Handle

I have previously purchased those cheap plastic handled garden tools and tossed them after them breaking and/or rusted. These tools are almost to beautiful to use but they are extremely high quality and work extremely well plus the cork handles make me feel like I am helping the environment. I know these are a great financial value and will last many years. The box presentation would also make this a great gift for that special gardener … think birthday or Mother’s Day with a potted plant or any day - they’re just perfect and I am thrilled with my purchase.

I was surprised by the quality, and it was worth the price. If I can manage to not forget them in the yard, they should last a lifetime. The cork handles are a nice bonus too!

When I am working in the garden in the red river valley soil (black dirt and clay underneath). I need garden tools that can hold up to the task and not bend or break when they get pride on moving dirt. It is not always feasible to use a fork or shovel you need a good strong hand tool and these and Ames products have been the best I have ever purchased. I have been gardening for 47 years now on our farm. I also have 12 flower beds with 7 being rock gardens. Besides these are from the family that designed New York park.

The quality seems really good on these tools, and I'm so excited to use them. However, there were a couple scratches on the shovel, which is disappointing, but it still looks nice. The handles are very sturdy but very comfortable, and you can tell the tools are made to last. The tines of the rake were not aligned completely evenly, but I could sort of bend them a bit back into place. The products arrived quite dusty, which I found strange and unappealing, but obviously dust is a very minor issue and I can just wash it off. Other than a couple things, the tools look great and I'm very excited, I just wish that the scratches on the shovel weren't there considering the price of the product.

I ADORE this set! It's exactly as pictured. Sturdy, but not so heavy as to cause fatigue. Modest, but beautiful. Chic, but practical. The scoop is generously sized, better than most. The transplant tool is amazing, and I am so thrilled to have a cultivator and hand rake. If they could make some secateurs as phenomenal as the rest of this set I would faint (not from the heat). It has been a chore to find a new quality garden set. Thank you so much for rescuing my plants and I!

I used to go the W* or H*D* and buy the cheapest garden tools they had. After getting these from Amazon and seeing and feeling the quality of Olmsted Forge I will never buy cheap tools again. These tools are heavy duty top quality and good looking. The rake is a super Bonus. They look so nice I am afraid to get them dirty, however they clean up really nice. I like to give them a shot of WD40 after I clean them. Thank you Olmsted Forge and Amazon.
