I absolutely LOVE this tape measure! It feels good in my hand. The auto locking mechanism is very helpful and I love that you can lock it in place if you don't want it to move. It can go out to a little over 7 and a half feet without breaking, so taking longer measurements alone isnt an annoyance. The quality is great. It's sturdy and durable! Great value!! Since 1927 Craftsman has been a known and trusted name and this retractable tape measure is a perfect example. The design is solid and has some heft, seriously do not drop this tape measure on your foot when barefoot. The retraction is smooth without snapping back like other brands I've tried. The tape measure numbers are large print format and easy to read. I also like the secure snap lock button on top, controlled by your thumb - again a great design choice. There is also a belt clip. The overall practicality of the rubber bottom means it will not scratch surfaces when measuring like a metal tape measure. Nearly 100 years and the Craftsman brand still measures up!

Good Measuring tape. It's not metric, so no cm reading, a little bummed about that but it's my fault for not checking the reviews closer. Not a big deal though, I just use it around the home. Nice weight to it and the self locking feature is really nice. I also like the colour on it. The price was a big plus too.

The item does what the tin says. It is small, it is portable, and it measures stuff. Very good item for the use I put it through. Has survived small drops out of pocket. Measuring desks and spaces between things? Great. Measuring household furniture to get moved and placed? Great. Build a house? Do not know, and will not be testing. Very happy with it so far.
