Ended up being garbage
Seemed to work at first but charging was very inconsistent. Kept blowing fuses and finally ended up melting wires. When removed the jel on the back was cracked from being to hot. Unfortunately this doesn't work with mercury's bad design.

2003 Mercury 50Hp outboard
I have a 2003 Mercury 50 Hp outboard. Removed the OEM and replaced it with this one. Starting charging at 14.5 volts. Works like a champ. I would buy again if needed. Happy fishing!

Works Great!
Installed on my 60 hp Mercury 4-stroke. I am fairly mechanical and it took me a bit but it works and that's all that matters.

06 Mercury 4 stroke motor
Battery went down and couldn't start motor. Installed this regulator and no more dead battery .

Went right in exact fit.
Wasn't positive that the voltage regulator was out or not, bought this, it went right in and solved the problem. Mercury 40HP 2013.

Beware!!!
Got a faulty unit installed July first. It was overcharging 16+ volts. Melted wiring and inline fuse. I’ll by oem Mercury parts from now on. Lucky I didn’t have a fire!!!!!!

Did not work out of the box
This did not work was defective out of the box, save your money and buy a cdi brand regulator. I waited past 30 days to install so I’m stuck with it.
