Exceptional print quality and a great value
So far I've used ~90% of this spool and plan to order more from this product line. This filament outperforms others I've used in this price range and matches some of the more expensive ones in terms of build quality and tolerances. The filament is not as brittle as other translucent ones I have printed with in the past. I've had no issues with build plate adhesion using 50-60°C and no issues with over/under extrusion. The color and translucency of this product is amazing. I have used this to print items with walls ranging in thickness from 0.4-4.0 mm and all retain the translucent nature. The only possibly downside would be if you wanted to hide infill, but then you wouldn't be using a translucent filament.

Nice PLA and great color
I told my son and daughter to pick out their favorite color of filament and I would make something for them. My son picked out this nice see-through blue color from 3D Solutech. I was happy to see it was American made and at a very reasonable price! The color is fantastic. The right color blue for the Detroit fans in my family too. The "Benchy at Sea" wave stand looks realistic with the see-through blue. The filament was within spec when I checked it, and it printed fine right in the middle of the temperature range stated on 3D Solutech's website. No issues so far at all.I'm new at 3D printing, so I don't have much experience with very many brands. But the large American flag on the box, the ease of which this filament printed, and the reasonable price will have me trying other colors of 3D Solutech's filament in the future.

Looks Great!
It looks incredible, though the details are kind of lost in lettering and smaller bits. The one gripe I have is that it's got a high adhesion temp. I personally print at 198 on my ANET A8, but with this stuff I had to print at 210 and even then I had slight curling on the edges.Overall it looks great and prints well, but that adhesion is rough. Worth noting that the suggested temp isn't listed on the filament itself, which is strange given that I've bought 3 other colors from Solutech that all adhere great at 198, I'm thinking perhaps it's because of the translucent properties of this one.

Great filament at a great price!
Great filament for the price. The See through Blue is an awesome color, larger prints with more infill you'll obviously lose the translucent appearance unless you hold it up to strong light however it has a nice shimmer to it that you won't get with normal blue PLA so still a big plus. I've purchased a few of these spools and have had no trouble with tangles as other people have mentioned here. Every spool rolled out perfectly, we are printing very large items that consume an entire spool at a time (1.25 spools actually) so our print jobs run 20-25 hours straight without a single kink. Have always been a fan of this brand for the price and will continue to purchase from them!

Very Good PLA
Really enjoy this PLA - Writing review for Solutech - ALL PLA. I have bought six different rolls, (Black, White, Translucent Red, Translucent Green, Glow in the Dark, and Real Orange.) and absolutely love the prints. The black is amazing - and the translucent colors are out of this world!! Great prints and great adhesion. I am using a Flashforge Creator Pro, Nozzle 200, and bed at 50. Always an awesome print. I have NOT had any problems with the rolls being tangled. All of them have been good so far. I have used far more "name brand" pla and not have the great results as this. Looking forward to trying some of their other colors and materials for prints!!!!

Excellent color and finish and easy printing with default settings.
I bought this for printing the blade of a lightsaber toy I found on thingiverse (see picture). The color and finish are excellent and work well for the intended purpose. I ran the entire 10 hour print job straight out of the box with the default PLA settings in Prusa Slicer 2.0 on my i3 MK3 and had no issues. I printed the same model in Cherry Red Metallic Proto Pasta HTPLA and had some print artifacts that required post-processing, but I had none of those issues with this Solutech PLA. Others have complained about the spooling, but I see no issues in that area. Quality and value here are easily comparable to the Inland PLA that I use for most of my print jobs (including the lightsaber hilt in the photo), but the inland neon green is nowhere near as bright a color. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Brittle and full of air bubbles. Bad material.
The media could not be loaded. I received this material a day ago and tried to use it this morning. The material is very brittle and just shatters when I try to unroll a couple of feet to load my printer. I shined a flashlight under the filament and noticed a ton of air bubbles in it as you can see in the attached photos. This is from their manufacturing process. I also posted a video of how fragile it is. It just snaps in half instead of bending. Also attached is a picture of the lot number. Since the ENTIRE roll is like this, I am guessing there was no quality inspection on it and the ENTIRE lot is probably bad. If you purchased this, check to see if your batch number matches mine in the photo. I plan to include this little mishap in one of my upcoming YouTube videos.
