Awesome camera for a great price.
16MP photos with 42x optical zoom for less than $160! This camera is a terrific value for the options you get. I once had a Fuji camera that was comparable, but I paid way more than $160 for it. This camera is a beauty and will be in my possession for a long time. Perfect. Update: 12/8/2017. After having this camera for over a year, I still stand by my original statement in that it is a great camera. I have had problems however with indoor, low-lighting shots. For example, a children's Christmas singing pageant had pics and videos that came out very orange and blurry, no matter what setting I used (and I was using a tripod), and also in 'It's a Small World' at Disney. Hope that song isn't stuck in your head now. But the lighting in there is similar (low-light, moving animatronics), and all of the shots I took were blurry and useless. Was trying to get reaction shots of a three-year-old (my granddaughter), but none were usable. Outdoor pics and videos are ace! Long zoom photos are ace if you use a tripod and delayed shutter. I use the two second delay so the camera has time to stabilize after I've hit the shutter button. Indoor shots with low-lighting are a problem. Not sure how to overcome this.

Camera Defective Battery Issue
UPDATE: I just got the new battery and it fixed the issue! This is a very light camera that takes wonderful pics! But.... My biggest issue is that I just purchased this camera brand new, it got here Monday to only find out it only turns on when on the charger, no matter how long you charge it. I read the instructions over and over, after looking up more info about my problem it is apparently a common issue with this camera. I emailed KodakPixPro regarding my issue and they are sending me a new battery for free to try to fix that issue. I am pretty bummed about it overall though, I was such excited to take pics of my Furbabies but I have to hook it up to the charger to take any pics, it immediately turns off and doesn't turn back on once I take it off the charger. Must be a common defective issue with this camera.

Pretty Good Camera
I am not a camera buff, so can only judge from that standpoint. Just needed a quick point-and-shoot really. I like the weight and design so that I can hold onto it well. Not a fan of the strap and the attached lens cover. Taking them back off. They just get in the way all the time when I'm trying to take a picture. Not of fan of the reddish coloring in the skin tone that I can't get rid of. Also not a fan of "waiting for the green light" before taking the picture (not sure if all cameras do this as of late?) but the button is too touchy and it takes the picture all the time before I get the go-ahead green light. Even with the green light, the skin tone is a little too red. Not bad, but compared to my old cheap camera, it's obvious. Probably best for folks that know more about cameras. Also...why can't we have an instruction manual anymore? Who wants to print out and keep on hand so many pages!

What a shot
The pictures were taken from 300 ft (I measured with rope & tape measure) First picture was taken with no zoom. Last picture was not the max zoom, about 75% After this range pictures start to blur.I took a video of these guys at about 50-60% zoom worked pretty good. A tripod was used for all pictures. I've gotten some decent pictures shooting freehand, but cannot go much past 50% zoom before blurring. I've used several different kinds of cameras throughout my life (lose or break them) This is a nice camera. Note on battery issues: I see many reviews for cameras & other items that use this type of battery complaining of battery issues. First, batteries must be fully charged before first use. They must be brought to full charge without interruption. 2nd, these type of batteries need to be used and recharged after 3-4 months, they will last longer with less problems. Last, turning camera on & off to conserve battery does not work. every time camera comes on or off the motor comes on, same with zooming. Try limiting motor use. I always carry 2 extra batteries

Camera is very nice!
I love my camera. This was a great value for quality, all the different functions, easy to handle, the size, and it's so easy to use. I also purchased this case from Amazon that it's sitting in. I love it!!

Wow... Great camera, heavy duty. Amazing zoom
Love this camera. Picture quality is super and zoom... wow the zoom is incredible. We started with the canon elph but it was cheaply made and broke a few days after Christmas. Love Amazon. They returned it and I got this one. This camera is made of mostly metal not plastic. You can feel the difference. Also easy to charge. Comes with the plug to charge it. It charges fast in less than 2 hrs. Must plug into wall. Easy flash button. Lots of options and filters but easy to use. So far my favorite camera

So far I've only run around locally and snapped a few pics but the quality is great. The zoom is pretty immense if you can hold it steady enough. I'm no photographer, just wanted something with a bit more than my phone and this sturdy little thing seems just the ticket. However, unless you know what you're looking for in the description, it's only compatible with an SD/SDHC memory card (and between 4-32GB as stated in the user manual which is an online download)! Having wanted maximum storage I ordered a 128GB SDXC card with it, only to find it won't work. I still don't know the difference between HC and XC but I've had to order a triple pack of 32GB SDHC cards for my holiday and return the other 1! Bottom line, great little camera, make sure you get the right SD card!

DSLR cameras have lens as a seperate unit where as here there is none. The lens is built-in and it has 42x zoom. All you have is a single camera piece. The charger is built into camera. Means you keep the battery inside camera and connect Micro USB to it and it charges the battery. The camera works without battery directly through micro USB ( which can be powered by power bank as well). No SD card included. You need to buy an SD card and camera pouch and an all in one adaptor (memory card - usb - OTG ) Regarding the power bank i mentioned before - if the camera dies after 30 min from the battery, just remove it and connect it directly to powerbank through micro usb and you can have hours and hours of playtime (the internal battery is just 1100 mah where as power bank is available at 20000+ mah. Indoor dim light performance is bad. Flash is mandatory. Outdoor light performance is superb.
