I usually buy the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard powder and saw these and curious what they tasted like as they’re quite convenient when you don’t have time to mix something together. After my first bottle, I can confirm this is an acceptable tasting shake but isn’t as nice tasting as the For Goodness Shakes (40g high protein version). I was going to order a pack of the latter but decided to try the Optimum version instead and wish I’d ordered the FGS instead. They’re also more expensive but with an offer on I thought it’d be a good time to try them. Having tried most of the bottled shakes out there, this would rank second to For Goodness Shakes 40g shake. Their interpretation of chocolate is not as nice as For Goodness Shakes plus it’s like you can taste the sweetener as well. But it’s not as bad as most of the other brands out there.

Taste's great. All three flavours. High protein , perfect for after a workout. Will buy again , when the price is right . Bit expensive .

All the friends I have that drink protein drinks are the sort of people that follow trends. They are always encouraging me to try them. When I saw this available I decided that at last I would give it a try. The first thing I'd say is that this isn't the best flavour I've had. The flavour doesn't seem to lend itself well to this type of drink. I'm left with a slightly strange combination of a weak-ish, thick almost oily texture - it doesn't quite do it for me. I'm not very impressed. Sure, on paper everything looks brilliant, but once I caught a whiff of this after opening the chilled bottle, I wasn't so keen. Now I'm trying to drink this as I write the review, and I'm struggling to get through the bottle. It has an oaty taste, and the flavour is a bit wishy-washy, but I really don't like the chemically-tasting sweetener at all. The odour smells of vegetables and it's a bit off-putting. I also find the texture a bit grainy. I think it is far too sweet in taste for a 'health' drink. I make smoothies at home all the time and I really don’t like this one. I will probably not have the others. So, yep, it's packed full of good stuff such as vitamins and fibres, and I'm sure it will suit some people, but I don't like it at all. I think I'll stick to drinks that taste nice.

I really like these shakes, and I am upset I did not get more while on offer. I first bought it while out and didn't have lunch with me, and when they came on offer, I bought the case. They pack a full 50 grams of protein and are not overly sweet, which always puts me off. They have gone up in price now ,so waiting for another sale to buy more.

Ahora en verano lo meto en la nevera y está muy rico y refrescante. Es bastante saciante, no como otro q probé de chocolate, pero lo suficiente.

Jeder der bereits ein Produkt von Optimum Nutrition benutzt hat, kennt die hervorragende Qualität dieser Marke! Die Flaschen sind robust, so dass man sie auch ohne bedenken im Rucksack transportieren kann. Der Geschmack ist, wie man es von Optimum Nutrition kennt, absolut super! Preislich sind die fertig drinks natürlich deutlich teurer als wenn man sich das Whey selber mischt, darüber sollte man sich natürlich im Klaren sein. Trotzdem der perfekte Begleiter, wenn es mal schnell gehen soll!

Se lo damos a mi abuelo de 92 años porque tiene que comer líquido y encontramos este batido, que ya viene líquido y no hace grumos como con el polvo. Le encanta y estamos tranquilos que no le van a faltar proteínas. Hemos pedido la compra recurrente ya que consume entre media y una botellita al día.
