I have been using these for years now. Never leaked, i keep them in the freeze between uses & there is no taste or smell from them. They are so convenient, i have used them in my hydration pack, waste belt & also put one in my running shorts pocket, for short warm runs. The fact they roll up when empty is good for longer runs, better than hard bottles.

I bought these for use in my running vest and they are ideal. Quite difficult to get rid of the chemical smell/taste but I think that is a common thing. Unfortunately after a few months use I got a tear in one of the bottles so I'm down to having only 1 left. Guess that's just a bit of a hazard with these being the softer material

I do not like to use hydration vests (personally) so I have a belt and the 500 fits perfectly in there. This is a plastic product and used regularly so I guess it will start leaking at some point but overall nice product.

I took a bit of a gamble on these straws. I wanted to use them to adapt the HydraPak / Salomon soft flasks I had. To do this I needed to twist the straws through the HydraPak lids. It was a 5 minute job. Top tip - twist, don't pull. The fit is very snug and they don't leak. Once installed I also replaced the bite valves with the HydraPak valves. As others have mentioned, the flow rate of the valves is low (roughly half according to my quick experiment). Luckily the valves are compatible so it wasn't a big issue. Having done all this, they are perfect for what I need. I purchased them so that I won't need to crane my neck to use the flasks in my hydration vest. No noticeable taste after rinsing them through a couple of times.

I have used them a few times now and they seem to be lasting ok. The tops come off and go on easy enough. Once you know to pull the valve open the liquid flows through enough when sucking. The straws are a good length and can be turned out of the way if needed.

Very promising to start with however they leaked after a few uses. Had to replace them.

Cleans everything nicely. Also great for keeping the bladder open. I use for my kids straws as well.

No backpack arrived, just the bladder. Sending it right back.
