When I first bought it, it didn't seem the hinge would pivot. After mounting the pivot point bracket onto the floor, I finally had enough leverage to turn the hinge. It works but is incredibly difficult to test without mounting it to a door. Notes: - Get ready for math. Measurements are primarily metric. Secondary English measurements get down to 64ths of an inch. - There are virtually no instructions. There's a complete set of cad-style dimensions and a couple pointers. - Once the door is mounted, turn the adjustment screws just slightly counter-clockwise to get the door to automatically shut. Otherwise it stays open. - The door really likes sitting at 90 degrees open. - The anchors for the floor bracket are *not* 1/2" anchors. That's the size hole I drilled and they fell right through. My guess is 3/8". I ended up using snap toggle bolts since I'm working with a subfloor. - My toddler can't push the door open. While that has benefits, I wish there was a way to adjust the overall tension. - A handheld router made this project much easier. And you'll need a plumb line. - I made a custom 50" door with the pivot point 1/3 of the way (~17"). That's not how the mounting hardware for the hinge was designed, but it works well. Last note: The small adjustment mechanisms make this thing top notch.

Product Held and operated a 90lb door without an issue. Swings like butter. Only issue was converting the instructional measurements from Millimeters to Inches. Other than that, its a smooth process for the experienced carpenter.

Works like a champ!! Little hard to install on a solid wood door. Have to saw and chisel out pocket

Box is torn and tattered. Looks like this was returned . All dimentions on the instructions are metric. No layout . Instructions are poor at best.
