This is a perfect hiking pack, comfortable, the weight doesn't matter if your not a wuss, the size is right lots of space, similar packs I seen for 80-150$ and they aren't as tough very good buy!

This is what my son picked out for his birthday . It came in today and he says he likes it. It has a pocket on each side, 2 in the front, and one on top of the flap closure. It's very large and I'm sure he'll get a lot of use out of it when he camps.

Updated Review: 5/5 Stars After a frustrating camping trip due to straps falling off on the original backpack, WintMing reached out to me. To be clear, all I did was leave a negative review. I did not try to contact them and am not affiliated with or competing with them in any way. They reached out to me out of the blue to let me know they had improved their product and sent me a replacement backpack free of charge. Upon inspection, it became clear that they did improve their product.. Where the straps were previously held together with a single line of loose stitching, the straps are now reinforced with much stronger sewing. All of the zippers were accounted for. They even added a couple of new features. There is now a second chest strap that makes carrying a heavier load much more comfortable. They have also made the straps at the bottom which allow me to carry my camping tarp around much easier. I loaded it up with gear and tried it on around the house and it seems to be a lot sturdier, and I can tell that it will even be more comfortable. I have to give them 5/5 for taking initiative to improve their product and provide world class customer service. You just don't see that sort of self-awareness and care out of many companies these days. Furthermore, I am not genuinely pleased with the product. I feel it is is worth the price point now! When I received the backpack and was trying it out, I immediately noticed that one of the side pockets... Was missing a zipper? So I tried it on with literally one piece of gear in it, a 4 lb tarp, and one of the straps fell off...

II picked up this bag for short 3-5 day packs into the woods near the area I reside. I picked this up to do my spring trip and I have been packing the bag. It is very accommodating and I especially like the fact that it is not full of various pockets all over the bag. I am a firm supporter for Dave Canterbury and as he says " I can't stand a pack that has all kinds of pockets because as you are packing it, you end up using the littler pockets for gear, and when you get to camp you have to search your bag to find whatever it is you need." This is a very light bag and is built around a military ideal. It has no strap patches on the top of the bag or the bottom. It is capable of altering straps with the buckles on the main pack. I have a pa30d that I have now strapped to the top of the bag, and it is going to work fine. The one thing that I find troubling is the bag cap and the way it is wrapped with elastic.The elastic is so tight that it is a real chore to use it to cover the main pocket entry. I usually carry 18-30lbs and with this bag I find that it has a very comfortable wearing and walking. So in summary: It's very light, it makes loading and unloading on the bag very easy. It has room also in the main pocket to hold all of the gear you need, and has an additional 2 side pockets on the bag as well as 2 pockets on the front of the bag. I was going to use my dry bag but the sack has a water resistant liner already. All in all, I won't be making any rock climbs with this, but for all other uses this a a great bag, and I suggest that you add it to your arsenal. This is a guy's bag, and it has a bunch of areas that will require a little bit of adjustment to make it fit. I used the cords on the bottom of the bag and put a cord through the cord buckles and brought the cord up to the bag top and connected those two. I wanted to be able to stretch the elastic in the top and I hope this will do it. Anyway, great bag, can't beat the money it costs, Well worth your time.

This bag is for serious packers. It is a solid quality rucksack for long stays outdoors and I can imagine all the items you can carry. My wife ordered this and it’s half her body length so I had to return it. It definitely worth the money because the construction is solid.

Love the size of it

We opened it and started checking out the space and the first side pouch zipper broke. Crap! Well, my son needed it the next day for an overnight Scout trip. I'm really hoping it makes it through the weekend. I'll update the review when he returns. The price was cheap so I guess I shouldn't have expected much.

I love this pack! For Years now I have been buying online backpacks and upon receiving them they turn out to be merely “Day Packs” and I have been looking for an “Expedition Pack” for a long time now! Price can’t be beat! Very light weight for a pack of this size! Is just enough space for everything! The style is Paramilitary but the Purple Camo is perfect for anyone wanting something just a little bit different! I tested the pack for its strength and waterproof abilities and it was perfect in My opinion! Highly recommend this pack!
