Great Fit A++++
Just like lead review states these are for the 1/2 inch wide back strap not the 7/16 inch . The grips fit great on my .45 Colt Blackhawk . Now I can get a grip on the thing . Much better control and comfort . These are what the .45 Colt Blackhawk need . There is a short install video on the web I recommend watching for a no problem installation .

Great grip for my Ruger Blackhawk old model
Perfect fit. watch a quick video on how to install it and it will only take a few minutes to install it. My 1968 blackhawk 41 mag had a large bulky wood grip. this slid right into place and is a great grip in my opinion.

It's great
If your not sure, watch the install video made by the company on YouTube. Fit 100% perfectly on my new model blackhawk. Feels really good in the hand. Will buy another for my single six

fit
I have purchased 2 of these. The first fit my New Model BlackHawk 357 like a glove. It makes the revolver hand fit 100% better. Love it. The second is for was for my Vaquero 45 and the fit is not as good. It still makes my hand fit the grip much better just wish the fit was better. I don't think I have big hands but this grips are great.

For New Model .357 Blackhawk Convertible with 9mm cylinder
First I recommend that you vist the Hoguestore website. At the top of their page they have a Knowledgebase tab, click on this. Enter your model information or choose from the menue. It will list all of their grips and the models they fit, along with photos and help questions asked by other customers. I wanted the Rubber grips for my New model .357 Blackhawk with 6 1/2 inch barrel which also has a 9mm cylinder.The Part number given on the Hogue site is 83000 for the correct grip for this model. Amazon part number is also 83000.This will fit the new XR3 frame with 1/2 inch wide grip frame, round trigger guard. This frame has 2 screws above the trigger guard on the frame, as opposed to the 3 screws on the old model XR3 frames. This grip 83000 will not fit the old XR3 frame. Why they decided to print instruction on blue paper will always be a mystery to me. They must have had a sale on blue paper and Hogue bought it all. The grip went on pretty easy. After you remove the old grips you have to install the stirrup over the bottom of the frame. When you put the retaining pin back into the stirrup make sure you squeeze the stirrup together, otherwise the pin will loosen and may fall out when you insert and tighten the bottom mounting screw. Next pull the grip open a little and align the frame pin on the bottom of the frame with the internal grooves of the monogrip. You have to hold the frame on a dowmward angle as shown in the instructions. Slide the frame into the grip making sure that the stirrup is in its groove. Here's a tip, as you slide the grip onto the frame make sure the lip of the grips don't fold inward towards the frame, otherwise you'll be left with gaps between the frame and grip. I used a small very thin blade flathead screwdriver and some KY lubricant and carefully ran this along the grip/frame seam while seating it together. Tighten the screw at the bottom of the grips and your done. It took 20 minutes start to finish. Grips fit perfectly, and look and feel great. It's like having a new gun.

Excellent product for the blackhawk, installation tricky, see review for info.
Exactly what a ruger blackhawk 45colt/45acp requires. Factory grips too short, you cannot get a firm grip unless you have small hands, without that painful to fire. The Hogue adds the small finger in length, a massive improvement in control and feel. When installing go to youtube and look, find the one where a used ear plug and a couple of business cards assist in the install, you will not be sorry.

Open Package
The grip fits my Ruger Singke Six .22 okay. As it is made for multiple models it is not perfect but it does fit my hand better than the stock grips. The bigger issue is the plastic clamshell was opened and it had zero instructions. Now I don't mind used or "new returned" but I expected brand new and unopened. The lack of instructions could be a direct result of it having been opened or simply like many things they are not included and you have to find them online. It was not an issue for me as it was obvious how the bracket mounted to use the bottom bolt instead of the original grip plates but others with less mechanical knowledge may have had problems. I have yet to fire it with the grip installed but it's a .22 I plan to just use with snakeshot (2 copperhead this year dog got bit by one in front of me) so the goal was solid hand fit not recoil reduction or anything. It works for that.
