I have tried many different beard dyes and this one is actually one of the best. I have a very full, and long and thick beard it is probably about 65% gray. Just a little bit of this goes along way and unless you’re actually washing your beard out every day with shampoo, which you shouldn’t really be doing anyways, it sticks around for a few days. But I reapply a little bit each morning when I get out of the shower and blow dry it and it’s great. Keep in mind, when I say a little bit goes a long way I’m not exaggerating- unless you want to look like some crazy person with a pitch black beard, you really only need about a dime size amount to work in. No beard dyes are perfect, some are very chemically based that a lot of people, including myself have a reaction to, or some are pain in the ass to apply so this one is kind of the best of both worlds. It’s not chemically and it’s easy to apply and remove.

Too much residue on clothes and hands.

Product is misleading. It doesn’t really darken your beard, but adds an odd sheen of funk that HAS TO BE dried before you face embarrassment. Dies seems to still work better.
