SoundMagic's E11's The Best Sub $50 Earbuds (Made for Rock, Pop, Jazz) Neutral Sound
These are my go-to ear plugin's I have tried some of the other "favorite" IEM's and they fell short in the sub $50 earbud price range. The E11 bass is balanced, never muddy or blown out but the sub Bass is nonexistent if you are into Hip Hop or Rap but for Rock N' Roll the bass is hitting on all cylinders, the mids are off the hook, alive with a sound stage that really brings out the vocals, drums & distortion fed guitars are what these plugs do best the sound stage is fantastic, the highs can be shrill unless you use the equalizer and back it down -1 or -2 on the scale but once you dial these plugs in tonally they are ready for some volume and these plugs can handle it in fact the harder I push these E11's the better they sound. Build quality is top notch and look amazing in gun metal. This is my 2nd pair the first pair lasted 5 years and I abused them to no end. If you like Pop, Rock, Jazz these plugs will impress, they really are sound magic! Negatives - Not suitable for heavy bass/sub-bass music.. Highs can be shrill until dialed in. Cable is a major tangle terror and can create static noise when rubbing clothing. Positives - Build quality is superior, sound stage will impress, can handle higher volumes without distorting, durable, 3 size ear plugs.

Amazing purchase
If you’re looking for premium-feeling earbuds without dropping big bucks, these are 🔥! The metal housing looks sleek and feels solid, and the lightweight, comfortable fit means you can jam for hours. The 10 mm neodymium drivers deliver clear, balanced sound with nice bass and crisp highs, perfect for everyday listening. The inline mic + 3-button controls make calls and track control easy on both Android and Apple phones. Plus, the silver-plated cable is durable and resists tangles, so you’re not always wrestling with knots. All of that at a crazy affordable price? That’s a no-brainer deal.

Radiohead...
The Good: - Cords easy to untangle, unlike most relationships. - Solid build. Doesn't feel cheap... although it looks like a can of soda. - Decent sound quality for the price. Sometimes I feel the sound distort in some ways that feels synthetic or unnatural, but that's because I produce music. Most people won't even notice it. Bass surprisingly adequate without burying the high ends. Sub bass has presence. Get foam tips for better isolation. The Bad: - "Boxed in" beefy sound. Sound delicious, but it ain't. Not expecting a wide 360 sound, but I can feel it's a cheap earbuds sometimes. - Cold tips every time it makes contact with my ears, like Edward from Twilight is pulling pranks on me with his icy fingers. Must be the metal and this is actually VERY annoying, like when you're taking a shower and someone flushes the toilet. Overall: Compared to my Galaxy Buds Pro which I got for twice the price, SoundMAGIC E11C it's just okay. The only reason why I bought this is to remove any delay for gaming devices... but the sound for gaming isn't that good. However, if you're planning to only listen to music and you're really tight on budget and you're not an audiophile who likes Radiohead, not many can compete with this earbuds.... so it's not for me and I don't want a vampire's cold pinky touching my ears. I'd rather have earbuds made out of fake plastic trees.

Best Customer Service Ever (Not for me though)
Bose discontinued their wired earbud line, so I was looking for a replacement. At $40, I knew this would not compare, but based on other reviewers' comments, I was hoping for something that could work. I think whether or not you buy this set of earbuds is what tradeoffs you want to make. For me, it was a bad fit. Here's my pros/cons list: PROS: - great sound. If you are not going to be moving around, just listening to music. Great sound. - great wire casing. It's slick and easier to detangle than the rubber-encased bose headphones I have - great case. Probably the best I've received. Compact, sturdy, perfect color (dark grey so you can find it in the interior of a black purse, but not as in-your-face as a neon one). CONS: - earbud design is not stable. I thought these might be cushioned differently than your average $15-25 earbuds so they would stay firmly in your ear. They don't. They are different, but they won't stay in your ears securely - no volume control. Admittedly, there is no promise of volume control on the description, but I saw the fat section & jumped to the conclusion that there were controls built in. What I love about the bose is the ability to quickly pause/restart/change volume on the headphones themselves - no microphone (which I knew, but for $40, this is a definite con). All in, I wish I had selected a different pair for my intended use, but it is DEFINITELY better than airplane airbuds, so I am going to keep them instead of returning (insufficient time to replace). *Update* After I posted this review, the seller contacted me multiple times to offer me a replacement line of their earbuds they thought would work better for me. It has been 20+ years since I received such customer service. In an era where casual disrespect and disregard for others is the norm, this was an unexpected pleasure. I upgraded my review by one star to reflect the co's concern for its customers. I will try the new version they send & if I love them, will review the appropriate model.

Solid so far!
My cat chewed through my previous wired earbuds... Those were solid and had lasted me many years, so I wanted to find some high-quality replacements. So far, I like these! They are super comfortable in my ears. Usually, I find earbuds to be big or painful, so smaller ones work better for me! With that said, these are relatively small, but they don't feel light or cheap. Sound-quality-wise, I'm not an audiophile, so they sound great to me! The price seems to match the quality of the sound, to my untrained ear. My one complaint would be the wire. I think it's supposed to be some sort of material/design to help keep it from tangling, but it's a little bulky and awkward because of that. I only notice it when I have to touch the wire to gather everything up, so it's not really much of a negative! It's got my seal of approval! I will return if anything goes wrong! UPDATE: Still going strong! The only thing I've noticed is that with extensive wear (like, over 6 hours), my ears do start getting a little sore, but maybe that's for the best-it gets me off of my PC to stretch my legs!

Old School, upgraded with modern tech.
First, this is a very good IEM. Bright sounding, balanced with good, not superior, bass. Soundmagic aims for the wow factor, much like 'special effects' in ear. Everything is forward, some sound depth but not the blow away type. Crystal clear sounding with excellent volume. A slight, MINOR drag in the sound; understandable with the multiple sound effects going on. Reminds me of a smaller, in ear version of the SONY MDR-7506 over ear headphone. High praise, but this 9mm driver cannot outperform the 40mm driver over ear. The more modern tech reminds me of that headphone, so I classify the sound as 'old school'. And old school in this case is very, very good. Build quality is excellent. Soundmagic sticks one of the headphones into the styrofoam holder, so it must be pushed out from the back as opposed to pulling on the wire. In summation, Crystal clear, balanced sound with smooth bass, not sub-bass drop; a mix of dynamic and reference. Highly appealing to the most people, but not focused on the sound addicts. Update: With a high quality Dac/Amp, these earphones are extraordinary. It took some break in, and I switched the source of my music output. These earphones sound like high quality over the ear headphones, with sub~bass drop. Bottom line is my music has come alive with seductive, accurate sounds. Very pleased at the improvement over the e10c, and I hope for long lasting durability.

Worked great until they didn't
These earbuds were awesome when I first bought them. Sound was nice and they were very comfortable. Over the last couple of months I started to notice that the left earbuds had the protective sleeve begin to fade. Fast forward to now and the sleeve has completely fallen off and the wires are exposed. I was using them today and I got a shock in my ear and now they are unusable. Spending almost $50 I expected these earbuds to last me a good couple of years before anything happened to them but less than a year is unacceptable. I take very good care of them and only use them a couple of hours a day.

These are the ones!
I have searched for the perfect earbuds for several years. I am always looking for high audio performance in a durable, lightweight slim profile. Wired buds work for me as they are just reliable performers without being fussy. Ive tried many good ones over the years and been tempted to shell out high dollars and purchase high quality wireless buds. But with the landscaping I do all day, thought they would drive me crazy with issues. Searching again for high quality wired buds at a reasonable price, I ran across the sound magic buds. They received high marks and are affordable so I gave them a try. Pretty unbelievable that such an unassuming looking earbud can perform so well. Midrange is warm and full of subtle detail with a strong low end. High end receives a 4/5 as it could use a slight uptick of detail. But that being said, the full mids and base take the cake with the top end performing adequately to give these sound magic buds my highest mark. I will definitely buy again. Sure, you can spend more, but not get a whole lot more.
