Superb mouse
I already have the Viper mini which I really like so when this came up in a deal on prime day I thought I'd add it to my collection and check it out. Shape: Really nice safe shape, quite flat around the back not much of a hump. There is some comfort curvature in the buttons which makes it feel good in the hand. I'd say this is a medium size mouse, around the same length as the endgame gear xm1 Build: feels like a premium mouse although the finish is a bit smooth. The clicks are a little bit mushy for me, they don't feel as sharp as the mini but they still feel good to use. It's also really light (70g) so really good for gaming, very balanced as well. The cable is excellent, no drag. Although I put it in a bungee anyway just to keep things tidy. Use: Took a bit of getting used to as a mostly use the XM1 and G305 it feels completely different to both in the hand. The sensor is top notch and really responsive (as is the clicks). Had a good go on apex legends with it and once I'd got my sens right with it it worked really well. There's no problem with LOD like on the viper mini (although I think a fix is coming for that) I'd say the only drawbacks to this mouse is the finish and synapse (obviously) At 33 quid I'd have to say this is one of the best gaming bargains I've got.

So good.
One of the best gaming mice I've ever owned! It's great shape - fits in my hand perfectly. It's really lightweight The braided cable is very light and flexible - the mouse almost feels wireless using a bungee. Very good scroll wheel. It's perfect for FPS games. My previous mouse was the SS Rival 600 - which was a great mouse, I really liked the shape..... But i needed something smaller & lighter with a similar shape/ergonomic feel - for me, the Razer Viper was a great choice. One observation would be the right/left clicks feel a little mushy to me (compared to my previous mouse) it's sort of hard to describle.....but I don't think this is a bad thing. I distinctly remember the Deathadder having a similar feel in the clicks also - maybe just a Razer thing.

Excellent mouse, but let down by poor scrollwheel
My old Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical wore out, so I wanted something similar but better to replace it. I have fairly small hands, and use palm grip. The Razer Viper is roughly the same size as the IMO but slightly narrower and flatter, and with more ergonomic contouring. It fits my hands better than the IMO, and is easier to lift from the mousepad. I use Linux, and the Razer Viper is supported in the latest version of OpenRazer. The gaudy light-show effect can be disabled, and the polling rate and DPI configured. The IMO was fixed at 400DPI, which meant it needed acceleration to be usable with modern monitors. I'm running the Razer Viper at 1000DPI, which does not need acceleration, and I find it more accurate because the cursor movement is more predictable. The main buttons feel crisp, and have lighter touch than the IMO, so I occasionally click accidentally, although this is becoming less of an issue as I get used to it. Lighter touch is better for fast response so I have no complaints about this. The cable drag and sliding resistance are much lower than the IMO. The side buttons are ideally positioned for my thumb and feel crisp. The body feels more solid than the IMO despite the lower weight. The biggest weakness is the scrollwheel. It feels soft and mushy, worse than the IMO. It's not a deal-breaker, and I'm on balance happy with the mouse, but with something this expensive I expected better. The lift-off distance is also higher than some other high-end mice, although I don't think it's excessive. With a better quality scrollwheel the Razer Viper would be an easy five stars, but as it is I can only give four.

An Honest review after a month of use..
I have had the Razer Viper for just over a month now, when it first arrived the weight really threw me off, it felt like there was nothing in the box. I am a "semi" pro level Counter-strike: Global Offensive player, participating (and winning) competitions and have been using the Razer Naga Chroma (it's an old mouse that I have just gotten used to, the weight, the buttons ect). I was in the market for a new mouse and saw this, out of the box, I wasn't so sure, going from a 154g mouse to a 69g mouse is a massive jump. and I really wasn't sure I would get on with it, but I was pleasantly surprised. it is unbelievable, it has a really nice ergonomic grip, it glides ever so effortlessly on my mousepad. it took me a few weeks to adjust as I kept overflicking targets, but it has seriously improved my performance, it might sound stupid but the weight really does make a massive difference between speed of target selection. it's a good, solid mouse, well worth the money

Review For Razor Viper Wired Mouse
I was abit sketched out when thinking to buy this product mainly because of how many bad reviews people have given this but Omg if your looking for a swift fps mouse to have top game this is the mouse to buy, not too big or small, lighweight but also not cheap buttons they are proper on point litually no delay either, i already had the software from razor as i has their headphones but just as regular as any other as people have also reviewed saying that synapse is really bad for optimising how you want it your able to change all buttons to hotkey how you want it, different chroma styles to how you like it, dps settings are changeable for each level, alot more about it with the smoothness and how easy it is to get those quick flicks in just the shape of it is brilliant! 5 out of 5 from me razor! 👍🏼

Best mouse I’ve used so far
100% recommend this mouse if you FPS games very precise also very very ergonomic and comfortable to use for hours long gaming sessions. Just on aesthetics alone this is a beautiful mouse I know the logo isn’t for everyone but the fact this mouse is RGB means at least you can change it to any preset effect or static colour you like and will fit all or at least most gaming set ups. Very reliable and have used for about 2 years would recommend 100% 9/10 on this one

My hand size is 19cm x 11cm, medium / large hands. This is my first razer product, main mouse before this was logitech g703 lightspeed wireless mouse, biggest noticeable difference is the weight reduction. Next thing was the ambidextrous design because the g703 was a right handed ergonomic mouse, but with any new mouse there is going to be an adjustment period. I've had to change the way I grip the mouse to get comfortable. I'm usually a palm/claw gripper and like higher humps on the back / middle of the mouse for my palm to rest on. Have had to change grip to finger tip to get comfortable. Since then, the comfort has been great. All buttons on the mouse sounds and feels just as good as my g703, slightly less higher pitch sound. Cable is soft and flexible enough. Scroll wheel is tight but not hard to use, very noticeable steps in the scroll wheel. Rgb is sufficient and neat. Overall build quality and construction is great too. Appreciate the lightweight without having perforations in the body. Great mouse definitely recommend. Tested for games such as: overwatch, valorant, cs:go Will update review for the long term if anything develops
