I purchased a Samsung Blu-ray player Goodwill and it did not have a remote. I checked Amazon and this remote was listed as compatible. It works perfectly and controls all the functions just like the OEM remote. Be aware, however, that the TV power and volume buttons are not programmable and only control Samsung TVs. This is exactly the same as the original remote so no stars lost.

I purchased this dvd remote to replace the the original remote that came with the DVD player. This remote works just the same as brand name just cheaper! Worth the money.

This does the job. The button feel and sensitivity are good.The feel of the remote in my hand is not as comfortable as the original Samsung, but it isn’t terrible.The value of the remote is excellent.I would buy this remote again.

I needed a simple, universal remote for my mother, we bought her a Samsung Blu-ray player that did not come with a remote, and the universal remote, we already had didn’t work with it for some reason. This one didn’t require any extra steps to program it, it worked perfectly from the get-go!

lost the remote to my DVD player so I ordered this one. Works great! I added the batteries and it was ready to go! Super easy.

I received this product without any protective packaging, floating around inside a comically large envelope. The first thing I noticed was that "Source" is spelled "Sourge". If the manufacturer can't manage to spellcheck a handful of words, I don't trust them to make a decent remote.
