Review: Nice watch, arrived dead / not working - I just received this watch the other day and when I took it out of the box it was dead/not working. The watch itself is nice and not too heavy which is important for long use sessions. The band is "genuine leather" which means that its a hybrid leather rather than real leather. The leather feels good on the wrist but I cannot tell you much about how breathable it is (although it looks breathable) as I am not going to wear a dead watch. I will go take this watch to have a new battery put in it when I have time and I will update the review after that if things change. I think that the idea of receiving a dead watch is a huge issue as watches typically are set to "off" when they are in storage. Also this speaks about the battery life of this watch as typically watches don't sit on the shelf more than a year (and even that is a long time, I believe the tags mentioned mfg sometime in the last 6 months) and no watch battery should be dead in even 6 months. Typically watches last for years on a single battery (I have one going for almost 5 years now too). In the past when I have encountered a watch that dies quickly it usually always does so and kills the battery every few months; basically making it useless considering the time/cost involved in replacing a watch battery. So purchase with caution that you may receive one that is dead too; other than that it looks like a nice watch and has a nice build quality to it.
