They look just like regular tennis shoes and they fit well
My son loves these shoes. They look just like regular tennis shoes and they fit well. They are well made and way more comfortable then wearing rented shoes. Great price!

Great shoe with a low price tag.
These shoes are very comfortable and seem to be very well made. They also look good. They seemed a little large for my feet, about a half size too large. But that a risk when you buy shoes on line, I just tie them tightly and wear thicker socks. I'd recommend these shoes because they are not expensive and they do the job very well with comfort.

Brunswick Sizing Issues and Some Size Measurements for you to compare. Shoe 5 stars, pad 3 stars.
Update 3/31/16 The 8.0 is 10 1/4" inside toe to heel so you can compare. It's a great fit and he hasn't complained about having to break them in! When they come they'll be super stiff, but he just flexed them in half a couple times, put them right on and bowled. Okay so on the return (The refund shows full price minus $5 shipping, so I wasn't charged the 15% restocking fee). As another reviewer said return shipping was oddly a lot, about... $15 or $19, Fed Ex and UPS wanted more. The second time he wore them halfway through he started sticking. He looked and the toe pad was already showing some wear and the tip of the pad was flush with the rubber toe in a small spot. I started watching him to see if he has toe drag (I think this would have shown over the years in all the shoes he had) and he doesn't really though he ends in a position that reminds me of someone teeing off for golf. So I bought him the Brunswick Offense Shoe Slider. He laughed at it like I thought he would, and that thing slides. I tried it and I'd fall on my face. After another a game he hasn't laughed at it since, nor has he taken it off. I was sure I'd have to modify it, and I did not. Thus far there has been no issues. The first pair of shoes $53 ($5 shipping) refunded $48, paid $15+ shipping back, the new pair $47 including shipping. The shoe size was a risk I knew I was taking, and someone had to eat the cost. I feel a little evil staying at 3 stars. The look, comfort, and appeal are 5 star, the new modern slide pad ( similar on all brands) is a 3 star max. I'm still wearing my same pair of Brunswicks and I brush them when they stick. Fast Refund. Since he's happy enough to keep them I'll add a star overall. I hope that slider lasts. We've bowled twice (about 10 games) with no problems. If you made it through this review I do apologize for it being excessive.Original Review 2/20/16:I too knew the risk of buying shoes online. Usually it pays off because I'm buying the same brands and styles. I looked for this under Prime with no luck. I buy all my husband's shoes, he's impatient and when left to his own devices he now has 5 pairs of NIB shoes that fit perfectly fine and remain NIB because he's a creature of habit. I'm more patient and just try to find the same shoes and hats over and over again. When was my husband was a kid he was ranked in the top ten in CA. I also bowled in college for P.E. Two days, 3 games each for over 20 months total (yeah I'm just a rec bowling). We also bowled league for 2 or so years together. He's also bowled alone, we take our gear every time we go to Vegas in case we want to throw a few balls and play there at least once a year etc. We're plain people and want boring inconspicuous white shoes which are hard to find. Because of the quality of Brunwick our current shoes were bought around 2000! Awhile back we started bowling weekly again for fun averaging 4-8 games until he finally wore out the tips of his shoes on his unusual 5 step approach.I looked at the tag and it said 7 1/2 and I was floored. Talking to a pro he said yes older shoes had an unusual sizing chart. Armed with this and research I knew I'd be buying more than one pair/style/brand possibility and still gambling. Okay so he really likes the style and fit, but they're too big. I am pondering a non Prime return, but in the mean time I immediately bought another pair a size down as my new ball is going to be drilled after the 22nd and I need him in shoes to play. Leap Day anniversary coming! There are so few reviews on bowling shoes! So I thought I'd do some investigating and share some real information with less personal opinion. I'll update it later based on the overall product and performance. Here is his "usual" creature of habit shoes:I estimate he'll need a size 8 in these shoes.I have been buying him a size 9 in Vans for 20 years knowing they run about a 1/2 size smaller. Nikes 8.5 (Monarch III which last time I had to go to eBay knowing the silver swoosh on the IV wasn't going to fly with him). Same shoes over and over. Here is what I found. (I shot the photos trying to best line up where his heel sits in each pair regardless of the sole).Measured with a sewing tape measure (flexible etc.)Brunswick 7.5 circa 2000: 10" inside (from the tip of the toe inside of shoes along the bottom to where your foot rests to back).Brunswick Arrow 8.5: 10 3/4" inside.Vans Malone 9 (athletic style shoes with cushioning, not canvas or classic styles): 10 1/4" inside.Vans 9 (Unknown style but very similar to above): 10 1/4" inside.Nike Air Monarch III 8.5: 10 1/2" inside.Grumpy Gus' foot measures 9 3/4"Note: I bought the Monarch III shoe based on his old pair of Monarch III he wore out, but he's only tried them on a couple and not worn them though he's owned them over a year. He says they fit.So as you can see this shoe size inside exceeds all of his other shoes including his old Brunswick shoes. The old Brunswick sole size streamlined with the upper part of the shoe where as the newer one protrudes out in the back but streamlines back into the front which doesn't look like it will affect a need to change bowling style. Slide pad ratio to shoe sole seems consistently similar, but obviously a different material these days (no you brush these kind when needed?)I know this review is long and full of a lot of info that you didn't need unless you are married to your own "creature of habit" husband. The shoes have a good cushioned backing surrounding the ankle and back inside. The shoes do not bend or flex which may be why another reviewer slips out of his. They're a nice clean super white with an appealing athletic design. The black is super black, the striping at the bottom is black complimented with a dark grey. The stitching is tight, solid, and consistent. The seller shipped fast. Very happy.Note: The shoes we received do appear to have been tried on and walked around a little bit as there are a few marks on the pads which would have been no big deal if we kept them, but it better NOT affect the return. He tried them on, set his foot down, stood up, and took them off. The next pair regardless of how they perform I will not be returning because armed with what I know now it would not be fair as the seller didn't make the actual product and has no control over performance.

Great quality and comfort for a great price
New to bowling and league play, I wanted something with comfort and durability. I am happy to say, that we are reaching the end of my 1st season of league play and these shoes have fulfilled all of my expectations. Super comfy, a good look and have not had any quality issues whatsoever. I totally recommend!

I recommend going to a local bowling alley and pay the ...
Beware!!! These shoes are at least 1.5 sizes smaller than labeled! That is, a shoe sold as a size 11 is actually about a 9.5! Whatever the actual difference is they are grossly mis-sized. To add insult to injury, the UPS Ground charge to return them was $23.xx, over half the price of the shoe.I recommend going to a local bowling alley and pay the extra (gouge) markup, but try on the shoes!

Lesson learned
Appear to be nice shoes, but the description is misleading. Both shoes have slide soles, not just the "left sole". If I knew they weren't right-handed shoes, I wouldn't have purchased them.

Three Stars
Doesn't slide well on synthetic lanes

Great Fit, Great Value!
These shoes were true to my size, about the same as my Nike running shoes. They slide well for me being somewhat of a beginner, I have used them maybe 10 times, so they have paid for themselves and look new still.
