Ghastly overpowering salty flavour.
Purchased after reading that bone broth aids digestion and can help to alleviate joint discomfort when combined with collagen powder. Chose this variant as presumed that it’d have a beefy flavour with a hint of mushroom. The product definitely tastes beefy but any other ingredients are overwhelmed by the all pervasive saltiness. I’ve been adding Himalayan rock salt to meals for years so am used to salty food, but this bone broth is virtually inedible it’s so darned salty. Whether this tub came from an errant batch is a moot point, as at £35 it’s expensive and should undergo stringent QC checks. Very disappointing purchase and can’t be returned for a refund as how do I return a container of brown gloop?!?

Great product
Great for making soups stews and gravy or a delicious cup of goodness. I mix 1tsp. mushroom broth and 1tsp. garlic and herb broth together to make an awesome, creamy tasting drink that is full of healthy goodness. Highly recommended.

Use by date in 11 days time
I have bought this bone broth many times before and have never had a problem with the use by date, I now have two bone broths that have to be used in 11 days. This product is expensive and I expect to buy it with an acceptable use by date, not 11 days. Surprised to see that they are not returnable, both are still sealed so what is the problem? Puts me off buying again to be honest even though it is so good for my health and is so tasty.

Taste is pretty rough but nutritionally very good.
The taste is just a little bit off for me (dog foodish). Goes down ok after a few sips but the nutrition is worth it.

I added some of this bone broth from the start to a boneless grass-fed beef stew that I made along with stew vegetables. I slow cooked it on the stove top and it was pull apart delicious in just 3 hours or so. The bone broth added all the nutritional goodness of the bone and bone marrow missing from the stew along with extra salt, mushroom flavoring, and thickening quality. It worked fine as a thickener and I didn't need any other thickening agent. Recommended.
