I typically like the Neoprene knee sleeves because they fit well around my knee, for that extra support to keep my knees from hurting when working out or playing basketball, but these Mava knee sleeves are really nice! they are comfortable and stay in place, where my neoprene knee sleeves constantly move while working out and have to be pulled up, probably because they have been used for several months now. i was also a bit concerned, seeing how these are fabric, that they would not provide enough compression around my knee, but they do! i was able to do my circuit training workout, as well as play basketball, and my knees did not hurt afterwards or during either workout! overall, these are very nice, comfortable, and function as advertised. i'm happy i made the purchase! we shall see how they hold up over time, but after wearing them a few times, i'm definitely happy so far!

Great sleeves for anyone who works out or exercises. Stays in place during workout, gives very good support and provides the heat retention that you want during your workout. They do not roll down and are not movement constrictive. The measuring chart and instructions work perfect. These are not knee wraps and will not give your the support of a wrap. As others have reported I have not had any issues with these either rolling down, itching my skin not staying in place. I've used my first pair for about 4 months and had to go to the next bigger size, and the first pair look brand new. I used them 2-3 times a week for about 1- 1.5 hrs at a time. Everyone that I have turned on to these love them and have no issues at all. Remember, these are not knee wraps, they give you very comfortable support during your exercise and help keep the knee warm will you are exercising. Using this product for other uses and then saying they don't work is not fair, get the knee wrap for your application.

I should preface this by saying I inherited a Factor 5 Leiden chromosome from both parents and developed a blood clot in my right leg. I am a runner and fairy athletic at almost 69 years old. Fortunately for me I was in good shape and am now in need of a compression sleeve for my knee. I use the compression socks so what I was looking for was some assist in conjunction with the socks. These are moderate in pressure and my size was large and I pretty much was right in the middle of the fitting size for large. So these work pretty goof for me and offer a decent amount of support. It is my hope that I will be able to start running again and the knee and the Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) can be controlled with exercise and a small dosage of blood thinner. I take no other medications so the outlook is positive.

Excellent Product!! I recently started a new job with excellent benefits and pay, the downside- 12 hour shifts And with my wife's great cooking, I have managed to add on a few pounds over the years. I have had 3 surgeries on my knees, next stop total knee replacement. After a week at the new job, I was taking 4 tylenol and 4 ibuprofen before starting work and every 2 hours at work(way over the RDU I know). and still was in so much pain I was thinking about quitting the job. Since my wife is the smart one in the family, she suggested a knee brace or sleeve. I have used several kinds before,but they were always uncomfortable, especially after only a couple hours with the perspiration making the skin itch on the firm kneebrace types. And the sleeve types were always rolling down after a short time as my thighs are a lot larger than the knee and lower leg. But I looked on Amazon and saw these compression sleeves for a great price and decided to give them a try. The first day, I started getting itchy around the edge seam of the sleeve, and thought "well, this is a waste". I went home and told the wife how it went. We looked at the sleeve seams and thought maybe the silicone? beading on it to keep the sleeve from sliding down was causing a reaction. So the next day I put the sleeves on inside out and went to work. Took medicine to start shift. Got to breaktime and Hey, Its not hurting as much!!.And at the end of the shift there they hadn't rolled down and there was no skin itching. A couple weeks have passed. They still stay up all shift and no irritation. And I now only take pain meds once or maybe twice a day instead on the usual 5, 6 or 7 times a day. I highly recommend this product to anyone with knee pain or problems.

Several reviews mentioned this compression sleeve gathered/rippled behind the knee. I agree that is a problem. Looking at their size chart, I would be an XL. Hoping to reduce the rippling effect behind the knee area, I ordered a Large. This didn’t help. The sleeve still gathered behind the knee. The last Mava compression sleeve I bought several years ago was a Small and it fit good with no issues. I currently workout 5 days a week and my legs/ thighs are larger. When the sleeve doesn’t gather behind the knee it is a good product and give me the support I need. You just have to find the best size for you. I wouldn’t follow their size chart.

This Mava Sports Knee Compression Sleeve Support is Awesome & the best knee support I've tried! I've had problems with my knees for years, have been thru multiple surgeries, & have tried many different braces & supports to help with the knee pain. I am so happy that I decided to purchase this one because, unlike others, this one actually stays up & is comfortable to wear!! Others I've tried would fall down & I'd have to constantly adjust, or the material would rub & irritate my skin. I wore this into my doctors appointment recently, & my physical therapist said "I see you have a Mava- that brand is no joke". I hadn't heard of the brand before I bought it, but he says the brand is awesome & he recommends it to his patients. I agree. I highly recommend it. I've added a photo. Be sure to use the chart for sizing to get the correct size you need. :) P.S. You receive TWO (2) with this. When I ordered it, I thought it only came with one & was surprised when I received it & there are 2!! :)

The sizing of these seems just about right, from my experience. My legs have been pretty athletic over the years (!) and fit right at the top of the L-large range, after I'd done the appropriate measuring. I wondered whether to go up to XL or stick with L, but I just couldn't see why I would go for compression sleeves and not have them compress me enough. The years of atheticism have compressed my knee cartilage and, rather than suffer with arthritic pain just because I've stayed fairly fit I thought I'd use these to help comfort when working outdoors, both in terms of knee support and also general warmth - because cold on occasionally painful "iffy" joints isn't especially pleasant, so why suffer it? On me, the L size is very tight. Not to the point of affecting circulation or anything like that, but not especially pleasant for someone who's right on the border between L and XL. If the XL is anything like this, it would actually be too comfortable and not a compression sleeve at all with my measurements right at the bottom of the range. Frankly it would have been better for Mava to have made overlapping ranges, so there's always a pair of compression sleeves that any of us can use that have our individual measurements somewhere in the middle of the range - in which case I'd have gone with the L-XL rather than the L or the XL - if you get my drift. I've worn them for long mornings working on a friend's garden and suffered no ill effects, although the lack of sensation through them makes wearing heavy clothes feel a bit strange. I'll probably use them also when cycling just to help keep the temperature up in my joints, which can get quite chilled when the weather's cold enough. They look well made and I don't forsee any major problems long-term with them, although I wouldn't complain if they stretched just a little bit! In fact, I'm counting on it!

this product has changed the way I move, i suffer with Multiple Sclerosis and severe knee joint pain, I had multiple cartilage and ligament operations but still suffer with the excruciating pain when walking or ascending or descending stairs. this knee support has changed my ability to move, it grips all around the knee, supporting the joint as well as applying the right amount or pressure to hold everything in place. i've tried various knee supports in the past and none of them come anywhere near the comfort i feel whilst wearing this support. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYBODY SUFFERING WITH KNEE PAIN. in 24 hours it has helped me out so much. FANTASTIC PRODUCT and reasonably priced.

I highly recommend this knee compression support, I have tried numerous knee supports, and this is by far my preferred one as I feel very safe with it while walking, doing physiotherapy, and household chores. Even after hours of wearing it is still comfortable, no sweating, and I have washed it on a low temperature delicate wash and it comes out perfect with no reduction in support. Anyone looking for secure and comfortable knee support will not be disappointed with this one by Mava

I've always had weak, crackly knees. These are light weight and provide a good amount of support to both of my knees. They have helped me immensely at the gym on exercises I was previously struggling. Would recommend.

Does as it is advertised, works great. very comfortable. More of a compression than support
