Great product
Great value. High quality miniature unit, aluminum case, runs very cool, all ports work flawlessly. Connectors are properly snug. It has a 2-foot cord. It has an on-off switch with status light. On my computer, (Dell laptop w/ thunderbolt 4 port) the unit will stay powered up when the computer is down. It draws negligible power (my computer still shows100% charge after shutting down for an evening). This is convenient, as I use the hub with a remote cable under a sofa, and I do not have to switch it back on when I power up.

Excellent hub that works with Macs & audio interfaces without additional external power
If you work with audio you know that using a hub with DACs and audio interfaces can be hit or miss; the SABRENT USB C Hub 5-in-1 Docking Station hit it out of the park. This is an excellent, reliable hub that works with not just one but two digital audio interfaces connected to my 13" M4 MacBook Air which provides it with more than enough power without having to plug it into yet another charger and AC outlet.. For hi-fi listening one USB-C to USB-B cable goes to my Topping E30II DAC, then for mixing Tractor Pro with DVS, another USB-C to USB-B cable goes to my Allen & Heath PX5. This hub is solidly constructed out of aluminum. All the ports fit every cable snugly. One side of the of the hub is blank which allowed me to affix a small rectangle of Velcro to it to mount it to the underside of my DJ mixer laptop stand which keeps my setup looking neat and tidy. The LED around the power button is a pleasing bright blue that actually provides a tiny bit of illumination over my mixer in a pitch black room. The button itself has a tactile feel that feels good. The hub is lightweight but does not feel cheap. I took a chance with Sabrent for the first time 4 years ago with one of their Sabrent M.2 SSDs and it's been fast and reliable since day one so I was confident this hub would work out of the box as well, and it did. Highly recommended, especially for your Mac and your DAW.

Nice 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with a power switch for each port
This SABRENT hub worked out perfectly for a project that came out of left field that required a number of USB ports. Being able to switch devices on and off as needed was icing on the cake. ● 2 foot (0.6m) cable ● Fast Data Transfer (up to 5Gbps) ● Compatible with Mac and PC ● Backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices Note: Not for charging.

Great, simple, effective, portable
This review is for: SABRENT 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual LED Power Switches - Slim, Portable Design I wish there was [also] at least one USB-C connection, however the four USB-A connections work great. I have not yet verified the actual advertised "USB 3.0" transfer speed capabilities and real-world results. I am using this for USB keyboard, mouse, and YubiKeys. No issues thus far. I like that you can use the individual switches to turn off/disable any (or all) of the four USB devices. For SABRENT: A nice enhancement to this would be to have the LED colors change when any of the buttons are on or off, so it is easier to visually see which are active or not. the constant blue can be hard to distinguish because the light bleeds to the other buttons even if one is in off position. ~humanly reviewed and written

Travel-friendly design
Compact and lightweight build slips easily into bags, while the long cable reaches awkward laptop placements; no drivers needed for plug-and-play setup across Windows or macOS. Sturdy construction withstands daily use, though high-power devices may need external power for stability. Great value for multi-device workflows.

Don't Buy More Cables and Adaptors
I have a few connections that I need to plug into my computer. Rather than buying separate cables to adapt a USB-A device to a USB-C port or a USB-C device to a USB-A port, this is a handy, cost effective way of getting around the problem. Nice budget friendly hub. Works great if all you need is to add some additional USB-A ports to your machine. Most laptops now have very few ports. After you add a wired mouse and camera, you are at a loss if you wanted to plug in an external hard drive. This is a handy way of adding a few ports via a single USB-C port.

Still works after 7 years!
Bought this usb port in November of 2018! It's only just now started to be a little finicky, and that's on me for letting it hang down so gravity crushed the cord up top a bit. But, setting or taping it onto a flat surface would ensure even more longevity I'd bet. Figured I'd leave a review since I'll likely be buying another one in a few months if this stops working from cord damage. But even then, 7 years is nothing to sneeze at! Highly recommend, it's gotten me through having more ports on two different computers. I can plug in my camera, my drawing tablet, mouse, key board, it all works great!

Great USB 3.0 Hub, auto detected and working perfectly.
Haven't tested the speeds, but so far am loving it. It seems to work great, it's USB 3.0 which is important these days both for data transfer rates and for charging devices. I love the ability to turn the individual ports on and off. I picked up a little velcro tape to hold this onto the back edge of my desk and it is working great. It's a little wider than my hand with fingers closed, the cable is fairly short, so unless you are planning on having it hang off the back of your computer, or sit directly on top of your computer you will want to pick up an extra USB 3.0 cable so you can run it somewhere on your desk. AmazonBasics has a nice 6ft USB 3.0 A-Male to A-Female cable which worked great for my purposes. I would also suggest picking up some velcro tape like I did to help hold it in place so it doesn't constantly shift when you plug and unplug devices. I would definitely recommend this hub. It was immediately recognized, it works great, I have two permanent items (wireless mouse adapater, and bluetooth adapater), and one charging cable which I can easily turn on and off as needed, and that still leaves me a free port, plus it freed up all of the top USB slots on my PC. If you are looking for a small USB 3.0 hub and think this one might work for you, then stop looking and buy it. Improvements: In my opinion it would be better to have the cable on the other side of the box. Simply because most people place their PC's on the right side of their desk, so if placed on the desktop the cable has to loop back over the hub. Not a major issue, just something that would have been nice. Update: I've removed two stars from the review due to performance issues. I like the USB hub, but have found that there appears to be a problem with a steady data flow going through devices hooked up through the HUB. I had both a wireless mouse and a bluetooth adapter for my headset plugged into this hub. I found that when the headset was connected via the hub I had problems with static and sound cutting out randomly. I also found that when using my wireless mouse through this hub the mouse would sometimes stutter or not register commands as they were given. Obviously this makes it unusable for those devices, though it still seems to work fine for charging my USB devices or for using devices where performance/stability is less critical. I have since plugged both my mouse and bluetooth adapter directly into my computers USB ports again and now everything is working smoothly. So the problem does appear to be with the HUB. I will still continue to use it for a charging hub for any USB devices, but I won't attempt to hook up any more sound or input devices through the hub. Hopefully my results are just a fluke. My only major complaint with this device are the performance issues, so if you don't have performance issues like I did then it would be a nice little hub. Ports and buttons seem to be reasonable quality and function flawlessly. All devices were easily detected and technically functional through the hub. I intend to do some further testing to rule out the USB cable I have the hub plugged into, but currently the problem appears to be with the HUB. Update: I contacted Amazon about this issue. Even though they were unable to send me a replacement since this is through a third party, they did refund me the cost. So while I cannot recommend this USB hub based on my experiences with its performance, I still would absolutely recommend doing business through Amazon (just perhaps on a different USB Hub). If the manufacturer could work out whatever the problem is with the HUB's performance then this could be a good hub. But based on the one I received it just isn't viable for me where you can only use limited devices in it.
