If you feel like your blade isn't cutting well, switching a blade out takes less than 30 seconds. These do exactly what I need them for. I use them for gutting anything from hogs to deer. The fact that they can gut a hog, and cut through all that hair and fat, that says all I need to know. These are very sharp and hold an edge. I can usually gut several hogs with one blade. Thin skin at least 3 of them with one blade. Remember this, a dull blade will always cut you worse than a sharp one. These are very sharp and hold an edge.
