This is one of a very few select tools I have that I can say works perfectly. The set cleaned our 6 inch wood stove to like-new condition. The poles are very flexible but sturdy. They easily get through the 45 angles. I used them without the drill first and it removed a ton of soot but there was still a crust stuck to the pipes. I then used the drill and the pipes are like new. I was afraid the brush was not stiff enough but it worked great. As great as it is, this was one of the least expensive sets I found. I definitely recommend.

Works well, got it chimney pipe reasonably clean. Only minor negative is the 6" brush could be just a tiny bit larger.

This brush was exactly what I needed. It comes with two brush heads one for dryer vent and one for about a 6 inch fireplace pipe. The rods and brushes easily screw together. The longest part of setup is determining how many rods to use. The rods have just enough flexibility to get around those corners but remain rigid enough to keep everything from flopping around. I used it on my dryer vent first. My dryer pipe leading out to my garage and then to the outside is probably a little over ten feet of pipe. I attached the rod to my drill and cleaned out all that lint. I was amazed at how much came out. I then turned on the dryer and brushed it again to clear the leftover/loose lint. Afterwards I cleaned out my chimney pipe. I have a 6 inch chimney pipe that was pretty clogged but this little brush did the trick. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.

These are light duty for cleaning chimneys , more suited to dryer vents.

4" brush with 3 sections of rod works good on straight dryer vent pipe. 6" brush for 6" stove pipe is good for 3-4 sections but I needed to clean 14' of 6" straight stove pipe. while using a cordless drill on low speed the 5th and 6th section twisted and kinked up. After removing the rod and brush i looked up through the stove pipe and there was not any kind of obstruction to have caused the kinking up of the rods. So if you are looking to clean any 6" stove pipe over say 8 feet in length try another product as this one is just too flimsy. And if you have any elbows forget it! this probuct most definitely will not hold up. As the saying goes! You get what you pay more. Good luck!!!

When I called a chimney sweep company, they told me there would be at least a 3-month wait until they could fit me in. I did an internet search and watched someone use one similar to this on YouTube. One of the best features is that it fits into my 3/8" chuck drill. Our chimney is much cleaner now, and I'm glad that this was available at a reasonable cost. Would highly recommend.

Used to clean a chimney. Rods were kind of flimsy which made it very difficult to control. Yet too stiff for an in wall dryer duct system.

Used them to clean our chimney for our wood stove....does the job!

Just what we needed.

Strong and flexible. Dubious about the elbow at first. Worked perfectly no stops or problems. Pleased with the product.

Cleaned chimney well, however, kept on tightening on to drill.
