Govee LED Strip Lights 10m RGB Colour Changing Lighting Strip with Remote and Control Box for Home TV Kitchen DIY Decoration, 2 Rolls of 5m

Got this as a present for my little sister, who had her eye on these for a while after a friend told her about them - Delivery was quick as expected from Prime and the box was presented in a much better fashion than I'd expected from LED lights, so that's always nice to see upon delivery 👌 Putting the lights up were rather simple - it was just a matter of choosing where you wanted them, then sticking them on. It comes with some little brackets that give extra support if you need it (which you can screw into the wall/surface or stick them on too) but we've just let the adhesive back of the lights do it's thing, and it does it's job perfectly fine so far. The lights come with the main "control box", which also has a strong adhesive back to stick on the wall, and the extension which you connect with it to plug it into a socket for it's power. There's also a cute little remote which weighs almost nothing and has plenty of lighting options including the ability to alter brightness, you can even make your own colours with the DIY options on the lower part of the remote! Unfortunately, the only downside is that you can only change the brightness of stagnant/still colours but I can see why it wouldn't exactly work well with the fade options - Otherwise awesome lights for the price!

I’m very pleased with this purchase. The first one I got had some sort of factory assembly issue and it split during installation - I contacted Govees support and they were friendly and very prompt in arranging so I’d get another one asap. Installed the second one inside and outside my wardrobe door and it works perfectly. Pros: Set up was easy Great range of colours and brightness Remote is very responsive Lights up the mirror on the door without distracting reflections Cons: Shows me just how messy my wardrobe actually is The one con might just be my own fault, but I had to come up with something for that list. The only thing I was sad about is that it has no function for Alexa to control it - which is my fault for not reading the specs before choosing the model. All in all, would def recommend!

These were bought for my daughter, who loved them from the very first moment. They took only a few minutes to put up - we just used the tape on the lights themselves, and found we didn't need the extra "hooks" that were supplied with the lights. One thing to be aware of - these lights are in two strips of 5m, running off the same plug, not in one long strip of 10m. This works perfectly in my daughter's room, because of the location of the plug (we sent each half a different way around the ceiling), but may need to be borne in mind as regards use in other rooms. Unfortunately, after about 6 months, we hit the snag that a few others have reported, with a small section of the lights playing up - either displaying different colours from the rest of the product or not lighting up at all, depending on what colour you had selected. I approached Govee Customer Services to explain the problem. After a brief couple of exchanges (receiving an extremely prompt reply from Govee in each case), they arranged a replacement product, which arrived just a few days later. So impressive, since we are in the midst of Covid restrictions etc. The original lights were very easy to take down (I just pulled the end of the strips and they came away). The process did leave a few marks on the paintwork (I acknowledge that I wasn't as careful as I could have been in removing them, knowing that I was going to be putting the replacements up straight away). However, these would easily have been touched up if someone had needed to. If you are tempted, go for it! And thank you to Govee Customer Services for making my daughter so happy!

I am extremely impressed with this product. I bought similar LED strip lights from another seller and they did not work, so I was very skeptical when purchasing these. What filled me with hope was the packaging - it is sleek, well designed and overall looks legitimate. Of course, the product itself is the star of the show. The backing is extremely sticky and definitely does not look like it will come off any time soon! The cable is white so will blend in to white walls better than the black cable of which comes with other LED lights that stick out like a sore thumb. The large range of colours are very vibrant and pretty. These lights are great for their money and are a great buy. My only issue is the remote control: obviously you need to be quite close to the sensor for it to work, which is fairly irritating as the sensor is attached to the power switch which I have hidden down the side of my bed. It is not too much of an issue however, so do not let it put you off buying this product - it's great! I highly, highly recommend it to anyone looking for a product like this.

These led strip lights are really excellent. Personally I think they are way more in value than the price you pay! Sometimes you can get more than what you pay for. The remote control and all the lighting options available are almost limitless that it becomes a challenge to settle on one lighting effect or colour. The quality verses value is quite unreal in my opinion and what ever your application requirements for where you use them are 100%. We used them for going around some ceiling coving in a bedroom and they look amazing when turned on and almost invisible to notice the strip when turned off so very good. Would say to everyone....... you won’t be disappointed and especially for the £15.99 very cheap price you pay. These are main powered only and the remote comes supplied with the battery too, so nothing else to buy when they arrive! Easy and quick instructions and installation takes literally seconds.
