Use this as an Indestructible MAF for 02-03 Maximas
This was perfect and exactly what I needed. I installed this on a 2003 Nissan maxima. The only difference is the thermistor sensor on the outside of the unit. This does not come with one, so you need to move it from your old MAF to this one. There are pins in place to receive it so its an easy swap. The best part is that these cost a fraction of the price of the 02-03 MAFs and operate the same way. Main reason? The 02-03 MAFs have rare earth materials and that is why a lot of auto parts stores charge an arm and a leg to re-manufacture them, just so they can break again later. After switching to this, you wont need to worry about that anymore. Very happy.

The unit as a whole looked new and clean so I assumed it'd work perfectly, but my check engine light stayed on. I never reset the code so I assumed that was why, so I attempted to reset it, but it would not. I was curious as to what was wrong so I asked someone who is a mechanic. He said to Get a new sensor because the one I have clearly isn't working right. I thought it strange being that I'd recently bought it, but I trusted his judgment, so I bought a new one. Just from looking at the sensor of the new one and the one included in this product I could see that this one is missing a critical piece of the part: a little metal piece in which electricity flows. I'm horribly upset at this because not only was I tricked out of my money, but my car could have developed worse problems as a result of this product. Do not purchase, look elsewhere. All of their products may not be like the one I received, but why even taken the chance!

Happy! It fits my 2000 Nissan Maxims perfectly. When I drive my car now, I can feel my Maxims is very happy and smooth running

Brand name solved all the issue on an Infinity which uses many of the same parts as an Altima, etc.
