Q: Will this fit a pcie gen 4 x4 slot? I dont understand this gen 3/4 thing? Just want to make sure im buying what i need.

It works fine on both gen 3 and gen 4.

Yes, if it meets the SATA format connections. But do not use to put system "C" operating systems on. The drive is unstable and undependable. I would not buy it.

Q: Is this nvme compatible with a sabertooth mk1 z170 mobo, it came with a adapter card for m.2

This drive has a SATA connection. If your board has SATA connectors it will work like any other drive but it won't connect directly to MK1 or M.2.

Q: Is this compatible with odense2-k motherboard, in the expansion slot called "one m.2 socket 1, key a". pc is hp gaming pc 580-010.

Ive slept of PC's so I honestly don't know. It fits into a PS4 slim with ease, u could probably google the dimensions and see
