Good product
I purchased this product at the request of my husband. He needed it to wrap piping for our air conditioners on the outside of the house. He said it was easy to use and it saved him a ton of money rather than have someone come in and do it.

Amazing Product!
This stuff is amazing and just what I wanted. I used this to insulate an AC pipe going into my house. Very easy to apply and sticks to itself so no need to use any tape. Also, it can be pushed into crevices so you can plug holes. Highly recommend.

None of the big box stores had this in stock
I had looked all over for this tape. None of the big box stores had it in stock. I used it for insulating the suction line of my home AC unit that always dripped in the summertime. It seems to stick and work great , along with the cork imbedded in it for insulation.

Hard to Find Product
None of the box stores carry this, and a lot of HVAC supply houses are weird about selling to non-contractors. It's the stuff that looks like roofing cement, but isn't, that goes around the refrigerant lines where they come out of your air handler. It keeps them from sweating or leaking. As you probably know if you're looking for this, if you have to remove it to service your air handler, it loses much of it's stickiness if you try to re-use it.One roll of this will last you a long time.

Seems okay
No real instructions included so i wasn’t sure how to apply this at first because I’m not familiar with this kind of stuff and I didn’t realize this stretches. I do know cork is a great insulator and I wanted it for some exposed pipes. Once I figured out how to apply it, I’m pretty happy with it. I’ll see if it holds up to my expectations this winter.

Expensive, but works for automotive A/C
This tape is a bit more expensive than what I wanted, but it does a great job wrapping A/C lines to the evap on my 90s import car. It is significantly more pliable than the cork that the car came with originally (which is kind of stiff), but thanks to that softness, it makes it easier to apply. It is just sticky enough to hold onto the aluminum lines. The lines don't weep at all when the A/C is running, so I consider it a success.
