Cortisol Health has been a great supplement. It is very affordable, good quality and helps me when I'm feeling some stress. I sleep so much better when I take this in the evening.

this supplement will help level your cortisol and other hormones so that you can relax more easily before going to bed
So far, Cortisol Health has been helpful for me. I've taken it for 3 days consistently and have found that it is most advantageous to take at night. For those under lots of stress and have a hard time winding down, this supplement will help level your cortisol and other hormones so that you can relax more easily before going to bed. Of course, you can take it in the day too, but it seems to work best for those trying to get a good night's rest. When I first took Cortisol Health, I could instantly feel its effects in every area of my body. The unfelt "tension" that I didn't know I was feeling began to subside and I started to feel like a younger version of myself. That's because I came down with a severe form of adrenal fatigue on October 15, 2015 and am still struggling from many symptoms of this illness today (December 19, 2016). I have personal experience of 20+ days of very poor sleep/insomnia from overactive adrenal glands and cortisol production. I wish I knew of this supplement earlier, but I am very thankful to have it to ensure that my sleep is deep mostly through the night. The supplement is not a sleeping pill and it is not meant to heal you of your adrenal fatigue or other problems. But it will provide a temporary balance to your hormonal health at night or during the day (depending upon when you take it). If you have adrenal fatigue like me, you will only recover by slowing down most aspects of your life and taking time to physically and mentally rest. There's no substitute for it, but Cortisol Health can help along the way and provide the re-balance the body needs to recover. In other words, I'm thinking/hoping that a long term use of Cortisol Health (maybe 120 supplements or more) will provide for a quicker recovery than trying to manage without it. The nutrients found within are very good for you! I gave it 4 stars only because once or twice when I have taken it, it gives me a "rush" feeling that can be a little uncomfortable, but that may be due to the fact that I took it without eating. Whenever I eat and take the capsule, I haven't had that feeling. Still, even with the feeling, the positives seem to outweigh the negatives.

Good Product ..BUT watch out for SYMPTOMS
Even though this review is being published in the 4-Star rating, I know that most people don't read the 1, 2, & 3 stars, to make a purchase decision. It would be a good idea for buyers, not to ignore them. I started taking these Les Cortisol Health pills in 2019 because I was told that I was peri-menopausal, with stress and anxiety levels high. In addition to that, I had been diagnosed with High Blood Pressure and Sleep Apnea. When I first started to take the pills they were great because the 1-pill before bedtime with (no other medications), helped me to sleep soundly. This was a big plus because before I had interrupted sleep 3 - 4 times a night and not feeling well-rested. At first, I was getting good sleep and I ignored the other symptoms below and kept blaming preexisting conditions. However, as I continue to take the pill, I realized that I was experiencing more symptoms. I took a break from taking the pills and tried to take them every other month. After taking the pills alternating months for 90 days, started to focus on the symptoms, to try to do the process of elimination of what was causing them. When I stopped taking the pill, symptoms disappeared and returned when I restarted taking the Les Cortisol Health pill. I was blaming my daily workout...for the... Joint Pain from bones aches (lower back, knee, finger joints). Even though I did not experience that level of pain before I started taking the Les Cortisol. I was blaming my diet for what I ate the night before...In the morning my... blood pressure would jump 30 points than normal. When the previous night's BP reading was 30 points less. My heart rate spiked up at least 20 points than normal in the morning. I was blaming my peri-menopausal state...when I experienced night sweats 2 to 3 times at night even though I did not have them for the last few years. Yes! I know sweats occur during menopause, but I know what my triggers are so I avoid those foods/drinks. I experienced insane dryness in the throat and would drink lots of water in the morning. I saw my doctor and was advised to immediately stopped the pill. All the symptoms above went away. Now, I am looking for a new natural pill that would not cause all of these symptoms. I am aware that individuals have different body, blood types, and medical conditions that they are battling. For those of you who don't have ailments, I am glad that this pill worked out for you. I just wanted to share the above experiences in case they can be helpful to someone. Good Luck in deciding what is right for your body.

Relaxing more than I bargained for.
I felt like I had taken Xanax, I could hardly walk after taking this. I woke up at 1:30 AM and couldn't go back to sleep. My heart rate seemed very slow. I don't think it is something I should take. But it may be for you?

I am overjoyed...
Over the course of my life, I have lived in near constant stress with extremely high stress jobs, draining family circumstances, and an undernourishing support system. I'm one of those people who is used to just pushing through and getting it done and oftentimes, I just don't expect other people to care about my issues or want to support me through tough times so I never asked. Like so many people who have my personality type, I probably have wounds related to times when I have asked and I've been severely let down and disappointed and I just learned to buck up and keep going without expecting much. Of course as I've grown I've learned to change my attitude about that and I am working on myself spiritually and allowing myself to open my heart a lot more. This change in attitude has brought great benefits to my life. In fact, this is the first time in my life where I haven't been under nearly daily amounts of very high stress but living that way so long took a toll on me. I developed a goiter and hypothyroidism by the time I was only 26 years old and ultimately, after almost 20 years of trying to get it to shrink (under doctor's care) it grew to the point of starting to block my airway, and I had to have it removed. Now that I am getting a regulated amount of thyroid hormone, I still have not been able to lose much weight and I still have moments of extreme anxiety. So I started to do some more research and adopted a ketogenic diet. I then researched further and discovered that some people who have symptoms of metabolic syndrome like I do, which includes estrogen dominance and insulin resistance/prediabetes, also can have high cortisol levels which can be exacerbated by a ketogenic diet. Who knew? All I can say is that I felt shattered to learn this as I deeply want to get healthy. But I knew something was off. On a ketogenic diet, most people report having almost no hunger. I had been feeling hungry and craving food all the time even while carefully tracking macros. I felt like I had reached my limit. I had tried everything and failed and was out of options. The only thing that doctors did for me was to put me on a high dose of Metformin and leave me there and that wasn't helping much either. So after researching the effects of high cortisol and the ketogenic diet, I decided that it was worth sticking with the plan because of all the health benefits and the simplicity of eating whole foods and healthy fats. I'm at the point of wanting a lifestyle change and not another quick, fad diet. I didn't want to give up the progress I had made in giving up a carb and sugar addiction.. I just needed a way to heal from adrenal fatigue. So, I decided to give this supplement a try. It's only been a little over a week. Right away, I felt calmer the first day I took it. I don't feel like I'm starving for food. I may still be overdoing it slightly on my caloric requirements but I'm nowhere near as ravenous as I was. This is a first for me after over a month of being on a ketogenic diet. I have found, maybe because my cortisol levels must have been very high, that I can take two of these pills. The recommended dosage on the back of the bottle is one pill per day and up to 2 if you are going undergoing a lot of stress. I'm currently not under extreme stress but I think I was suffering from extreme adrenal burnout for years and that my body is benefiting from taking two right now. I can take one in the daytime and it doesn't make me drowsy at work. All it does is keep me calm. Then, I can take another at night and I sleep like a baby. I'm so grateful to Les labs for creating this supplement. It is helping me. I hope that the benefits are multiplied as I continue to take it and heal.

Helped at First, Then Made Everything Worse
I tried this supplement (Cortisol Health) because I was having trouble sleeping and feeling stressed all the time. For the first two weeks, it actually worked really well—I was sleeping better and felt more relaxed. I thought I had found the perfect solution. But by week three, things started to go downhill. My sleep got really light, and I kept waking up during the night. By the end of week four, I couldn’t sleep at all, my heart was racing, I felt super tense and anxious, and honestly, I thought I was getting the flu. I was exhausted, really hungry all the time, and just felt awful. Then I looked into the ingredients and realized it has ashwagandha in it. I didn’t know much about it before, but after doing some research (and chatting with GPT), I found out that while ashwagandha is supposed to help with stress, it can actually make anxiety worse for some people—causing things like insomnia, racing heart, and feeling overstimulated. That explained a lot. I stopped taking it immediately, and my heart rate went back to normal and my appetite leveled out, but now I’m dealing with what feels like withdrawal. I’ve felt really down the past couple of days and still having super vivid dreams. Hoping it passes soon. Just wanted to share my experience in case anyone else is sensitive to ashwagandha. It might work for some, but for me, it ended up doing way more harm than good.
